Do you know any facts? Did you know Dr. Harouni wasn’t the only one shot? The office manager, George was shot in 3 places. He’s of Mexican descent. Because he didn’t die, this isn’t a hate crime towards Mexicans? Idk the race of the 3rd female individual that was shot.. but should we label that as a hate crime as well? What if she was white? What do you call that? So many people ready to jump on this hate crime bandwagon… but it takes away from the real story and the real loss. I did NOT like Dr. Harouni as a dentist and I’m still saddened that he had to lose his life over something so petty. And yes- this is likely all about bad dental work and billing! Yes, mentally unstable people exist- why is this news to anyone?? Stop saying “duh this is 100% a hate crime” when you don’t know the facts or the people involved. This was my former dentist. It’s horrible to hear what happened to him. But I don’t think this was a hate crime. I think everyone wants to label it as a hate crime to make it about themselves and to add on the political agenda. It was one man that felt he was entitled to taking someone else’s life because of bad experiences at a dental office. This was an unhinged and unjustified killing- but it was not a hate crime. My experiences at this dental office and by Dr. Harouni were terrible- but it’s dental work. Just cut your losses and go to a different dentist. The man that took his life was a ticking time bomb and he was ready to kill the next person that wronged him in any minor way. RIP Dr. Harouni. It’s so sad that his life was ripped away at such a young age- he had a lot of potential to learn and grow.

He was my dentist. Please don’t defame him. The quality of care he provided was beyond excellent. He genuinely cared about my wellbeing and did amazing work on my teeth. He cared deeply about helping others and worked his hardest to improve the quality of life of others. I am forever grateful for the work Dr. Harouni did for me.
