At 5:10 Back in the early 70s, I used to live in the apartment right where it says The Elegant Man. My kitchen table was right in that corner where I could look out at the intersection.

Wow, that's amazing.. I went there a lot in the 80s and 90s when it was 50,000 Books. I was always curious about that little bungalow house on the roof.

Remember 2nd Street on a Friday or Saturday night... All the muscle cars and hard rock and high school teenagers hanging out... Parked over by the Jack In The Box, where there was a Firestone.. Across from Thriftys and the Tiki Room... Or Stra-Van? Ha... A totally different place back then...

So happy to have grown up there. I loved El Cajon in the 70s. Is WD Hall elementary school still around? Now all of San Diego other than areas near where Machado lives are just a big trash pile

It was great until the vampires moved in. I'm still out here in the Arizona desert where I will stay. Too many fruit pickers, picnickers and lollypop lickers there now.
