El Capitan - Killian Middle School Honors Band

Students from the 2019-2020 Killian Middle School Honors Band created a virtual performance of El Capitan by John Philip Sousa during the months of April and May 2020 while school was closed due to COVID-19.
All recordings were filmed individually using school-issued iPads. The students kept time using the Tonal Energy metronome through headphones. Final production was done by DBP Audio @ DBPAudio.net.
There are no backing tracks or professional musicians stepping in to help out. It's just real kids playing real music. The Killian Band would like to dedicate this video to musicians of all ages that miss making music with their friends and family. Enjoy!
