Guys, all I can say is that this group El Chicano is the best Mexican American band I have ever heard since early/mid 1970s. Their music is simply awesome and simply the best. Their style incorporated various modern music genres including rock, funk, soul, blues, jazz, and salsa. I have all their albums and I shall treasured these albums my entire lifetime. Gracias

I remember when I was 11 years old I think my brother used to come home from the bar and he was a musician and he used to play this song over and over and over and sing to it and play the guitar that's how I remember this song beautiful song

I was just a little kid when this song came out my older brother used to listen to this when he would get home from partying at like 1/2 in the morning and he would play it over and over brings back a lot of memories and now you look at the words and it makes sense

Es uan canción de 1974, cuando en Radio Monumental de El Salvador figuraba como top 10 del top 25 de esa radio. El chicano gran grupo latino, como Malo, Sapo, Santana, tito Puente, Celia Cruz, etc.

Man I got a story about this song... Rock bottom, mind gone, most horrible thoughts I ever had. Baby momma hooked up with another guy, mocked me and laughed while I was finding out. Wouldn't tell me. Alone in my house, no sleep for days. Shadows jumping at me... while I obsess over possibly losing my son, along with finding and getting that guy she left with.... Like I said, most horrible thoughts I ever had. Never been a violent person, I hate when people are hurt. Never thought about hurting someone, let alone to this extent. It was sick. Andhad been going on for months. I play music so I don't feel alone. found this band a few years ago and loved them, hadnt heard anything by them in a long time... I thought of this band right before having probably the biggest breakdown of my life.. but didn't search for them... And THIS song popped up like 5 seconds after that thought. And as I listened, it was like someone played it FOR me. I broke down, begged God to save me. Begged for help. Begged for mercy. The shadows were gone, then and there. Clarity. Dude, I think I straight up got saved to this song. I love this song. I love it's message. And vengeance ain't mine. 2 wrongs don't make a right. Just gotta do the best I can. We all do. It's gonna be alright. Lol

Exelente canciòn, a igual que todas las de este grupo. Al escucharla vienen a mi mente recuerdos de la epoca de los 70's, cuando era yo chavito. Dentro de esos recuerdos figura haber escuchado esta canciòn en español?? No estoy seguro pero talvez alguien sabe sobre este tema si se edito en español. Mario Meza
