El Colorado, Chile 2022 - Cars, ski, helicopters, dogs, wine, food and friends!
El Colorado is easily accessible form Santiago by car or bus. Numerous companies offer service between different points in Santiago and El Colorado.
El Colorado is only accessible by a narrow mountain route with over 20 switchbacks.
Motorists should also be sure to check whether the road is operating in both directions; on weekends during the winter season, the road often operates in one direction (towards El Colorado in the morning, and back to Santiago in the afternoon).
