It's been well over a year since I last uploaded anything here. This song has been humming in the back of my mind for quite some time and I'm glad to finally put out my take on it.
Thanks to some lovely folks who have so kindly been willing to subscribe while I've been gone. I'm pretty sure I'll stay around for longer now.

I would rather both be sparrow and a snail and a nail and a hammer. As I am here to learn, and to experience otherwise how would i know which one is better than the other. Learning is that which makes me stronger and dream for more. Just a thought i might be mistaken . Thank you for the nice song and the softest voice

I think it's every human's most innate wish to be happy. To be at ease with life (to be a sparrow), to be bold and strong like a hammer, so that we can mightily make our way through any complications that may be. That's what we like to think happiness is, to not have to endure any hardship that could make our happiness vanish. We correlate it with being a sparrow, being the hammer, not the nail. Being on top, not under. It's what we're most afraid of. But what we don't often understand is, it takes going through hard times to become strong. It's necessary for growth, like you said. Life is going to throw punches at you, it is never going to be easy. But we may comfort ourselves with the certainty that it is going to get better, as long as we take these experiences and learn from them. We are made to learn and grow, to be once above, once under. As oaks grow strong in contrary winds, may we grow strong in the winds of life. Thank you for your insight. x

@@LuciferB66 You can still play in front of people :) Confidence is something that takes time to build up, and you can build it with practice. If you're not confident playing in front of a lot of people, start with whom you feel comfortable and ask for their opinion. If they encourage you, then that's a great boost for you. And little by little, the confidence comes. Believe in yourself, don't be afraid, and do what you love, with love. :)
