I was really interested to hear that you found the noise level in your room to be minimal. That was very helpful to me, as I am considering staying downtown for a future trip, but the potential for noise from Fremont Street is giving me some concern.

So from that perspective, yeah, both of the Original 47 rooms are great. Plaza and Golden Nugget also have some good options so long as you get a room that isn't facing Fremont Street. We have several downtown reviews which may help. Happy travels!

Thanks for the vid. I'll have a rental car - do you remember how much parking was? And was it easy/safe to get to the room from the parking lot? I heard Downtown isn't as safe as it used to be... 😅 Thanks

We did not have a car. However, parking is physically connected to the building. I always felt safe in downtown.
