EL is a beautiful soul. he is like fine wine better with time. I am his exact age, and when Debarge was big I loved their song Rythem of the night and the story of Janet and James getting married, I confess I was a young mama had my son at 17 at that same time and so I missed the whole club scene or any of that stuff, but now I am so into this talented man I hope he rises to the success he deserves, he is so humble and sweet, you feel it. clearly he loves music more then money because he makes sure he puts himself with the right artist and stays true to his style and voice, I just love this man, wishing him blessings and so much success!!!

@@roenamorgan5863 If you were really looking up to God you shouldn't be suffering from depression. Of course it's not my fault that you can't hang. Don't take your crazy issues out on someone else's successes.His success inspires many people. Perhaps you could learn a few things from a guy who suffered from crack issues for most of his suppositely productive life. He lived on the streets,after suffering at the hands of his abusive father and watching submissive mother,not to mention watching his oldest brother of whom he always looked up to during his formulative years wither away from complications of aids and unfortunately the last person that he wanted to see on his death bed was his own father who had mentally,physically and sexually abused him. Not only was El strung out but his sister and brothers were too. He and his brothers experienced violence in prison and out in the streets. His sister was also sexually abused by her own father. Because of all of the drugs taken over the years another one of the brothers died from kidney and liver disease. To suffer through all of it and still be able to manage to father 12 kids for El was an incredible feat. How many crack addicts do you know can manage to support their kids? Nope. It didn't happen. Dealing with crack you can be easily hooked before you know it. After 20 years addicted he managed get himself back on track. Do you know how hard that was and still is? You could not even compare it to a temporary state of depression. In comparison to him..no excuses for you. This man should be celebrated because he came out of all it and is still making beautiful and timeless music. He is humble and appreciative.Even after coming from a religious background he learned and as you should that God helps those who are trying to help themselves... and if you're not good with that then maybe you should just take the easy way out now. GOTP.

@@roenamorgan5863 Yes it is up to him to gain success and so far he's doing pretty good at it. Performing with talented new and upcoming artists,being invited to prestigious award shows and a new album dropping real soon. He seems to be recovering very well. You on the other hand have some real issues and it's obvious that you can't shake. Perhaps you may need to see a real medical professional about your issues because frankly my dear I don't give 2 shakes about where and when you grew up. This page is not about you. It's about a person who is making their mark in this society and so far he is being applauded for it. If you're not interested then just leave the page.....simple. Host your own page of pathetic losers waiting for God to change their lives without effort. As I said before...God helps those who help themselves. Stop whining,hatin' and raining on other people's parade. Live life and love before it's all over!
