This is so interesting...I have had "All This Love" stuck in my head recently but was thinking of it in terms of God's love. And here's Bunny saying the songs were originaly gospel songs that were changed to secular songs. Amazing! Bunny, your song writing is unmatched!

Bunny, please think of doing an album of gospel songs . I still hummm "All this love is waiting for you" when I'm thinking about God's love. Maybe you can do something similar that Sunday Service has done with reinterpretation of secular songs. Even some of the songs your brother wrote for Switch. They are all truly about God's love.❤🙏🏿

This was another great interview. I enjoyed the El DeBarge interview as well. I also enjoyed Bunny’s books. The DeBarges remain one of my all time favorite artist. They created great music and overcame a tragic childhood, not just with drugs but with their love of God. I feel it’s tragic that they can’t trust one another to unite for the fans who love nostalgia tours. Outside of that, great retrospective interview. Hope to see next a interview with Chico DeBarge as well. He needs to come out of hiding and tell his story as well!

NO drugs, and if that family could have dealt with other issues. the Debarge family would have, could have, given the Jacksons a serious run. singing, writing, music production work, and playing ALL those instruments. they had the Jackson beat. the only thing the Jacksons had over the Debarge's. hitting that stage. they were better performers, that's it.
@00sbabyoldschoolspirit8010 ай бұрын
A lot of the Jackson write,produce and play instruments as well. It's just that Michael was the only ambitious one and the only one that had hunger other than Janet. Joe said in one of his interviews that the brothers were a little lazy among other things and as far as the other sisters.Rebbie didn't have the right management,writers,etc.Music didn't seem to be her main focus. Latoya's act and music was everywhere she was in the wrong business. she should have been a model. But both families are extremely talented and great in their own right.
@beyourself24445 ай бұрын
Wrong, Randy was a hell of a musician and his production work is epic. MJ had a better singing range and understood singing better than El, the DeBarges were better writers for sure but could not perform to save their lives and performance is important. The Jacksons were better and with MJ they couldn't be beat...

Though still talented, The family is too broken at this point to ever perform together as a whole. All the church talk can't make that happen. That's a choice. That's not the industrys fault.

I'm sorry, Sir; do your research. It's so much to talk to her about regarding her history, family and the group. Your questions are pointless. She mentioned being abused, interactial, and you skated right over it. Have you been drinking or something? I could do better than this!

Why didn't he ask about her sister? How is she doing after what happened to her? Why didn't he ask any questions about the abuse or Bobby? Is it just about how they were in the industry? I was looking for a more in depth interview.
