This is so up front and personal with El. I like the fact that he doesn't hold back on the truth about his life experience in darkness. The interviewer went in deep, I like that. I also like the fact that El acknowledge the fact that it was the Lord Jesus Christ who delivered him. AMEN FOR THAT.

I'm happy that the interviewer really ask good questions and not say stupid things like the other djs have since El has been traveling, promoting his new CD. El seem more confident in talking to him. Great job!

His honesty and openess about his past life is meant, and I believe, to help others who are in negative situations. He is helping them to realize and "know" that with God's help, people can change their lives to positive. And sorry to have to say, but it is very ignorant of folks who put him and open interviewers who ask him openly about his past life style. Be greatful for his change, and pray for his continued positive path.

Another reason many thought the Debarges were Hispanic was because their mother later married a Hispanic man and people often thought they were his kids with her.

I understand his struggle I to had a drug problem I have been clean for 12 years.but this monster is not easy to shake.and every body gets clean what works for them.its a every day struggle.But this guy has an anointing on him.bc there is absolutely NO WAY that you can abuse the level of drugs and still have that sweet sounding voice. I just hope he listens to that voice that's telling him to keep trying to get clean.I can not judge him 💋

"Expensive and single." My interpretation of that comment is that you have to pay to play.

Too much pressure was put on El to live up to an almost impossible task, without room for error. Recovery is seldom seamless.

this interviewer sounds so ignorant; keeps saying jail...El, keeps telling him Prison... Ugh. El truly is a blessed man. He abused his body with drugs for years and here he is, still looking good, voice still in tact being able to hit those notes... you can't tell me that ain't God's work.
@msummer69268 жыл бұрын
Amen sister! Most people who abuse drugs like that and so long, not only lose looks but those upper register notes he hit... Whoa! Truly preserved. Look at Whitney, to say the least, her upper register voice never recovered. He is truly blessed. Love him! Has such a humbleness with him yet assertive.
@spwill738 жыл бұрын
Michelle Summer Yes, Indeed. I admire his humility. He is so grateful to be back doing what he loves. WE all fall down, we have come short, but Glory to God, He never leaves us or forsakes us. El is a living testimony of the grace of God. I wish him well.
@msummer69268 жыл бұрын
spwill73 Yes! What saddens me is how everyone is putting him under the microscope with every move he make to see if he's high or getting high like they're GOD or something. Look at all the ones who are getting high that we don't know about but still endorsing their music... People will put you up just to kick you back down. I truly wish the best for El tho bcuz I was hurt more than anything when I found out he was using bcuz I was in denial about him... Loving and admiring him so much but he's human. I just didn't want to see it. However, people need to just appreciate him bcuz look at our other most talented gifts,,, they aren't here with us anymore. At leaat the man is still living and still have something good to offer in his music. I love El and hope he triumph in a big way!
