Sometimes when I'm grading my student's papers I listen to his song, "Sailing". I begin to drift off to my middle school days, and high days and how much time has passed. Its almost sad to see how times have changed and so many kids will never understand the memories we have and why we talk about the 70s and 80s.

No huge show around them needed playing of instruments, the feeling the harmonisation back up singing and of course Christopher cross voice. The first song I actually heard from Christopher Cross was Swept Away when it was played on that episode of Growing Pains where the Seavers spend their summer vacation in Maui & that's how I became a fan of his music. Also, I don't mean to brag or anything but I am a Growing Pains fanatic. I have been a fan of that late 80's/early 90's sitcoms since I was in the 2nd grade.
