Glad you stopped by. Some of these areas are not the safest (relatively speaking, EP is a pretty safe city) but many of them are just old and house lots of decent people. The street at 6:35 is on the east side, I went to high school right down the street and grew up in the area. Hope my city treated you well man, stay safe.🤙

One of the safest cities in the country. Yeah it’s a run down area but you could be walking by yourself at night and be chilling. Some areas are just old. I used to rent a house built in 1909.

I recently explored El Paso and was surprised how much fun I had by myself. Everyone was friendly, helpful when I was sorta lost and the hiking outside of it was nice. White Sands National Park and Carlsbad Caverns nearby are AMAZING. I actually made a really cool friend out there who I’m still in contact with. Super laid back easy to talk to type of people. Also the restaurant that created the margarita is just outside downtown in Juarez and is totally worth the trip. Best margarita I’ve ever had!

TBH driving on the highway is the most dangerous thing you can get into in El Paso. They really cannot drive out there lmao

El Paso is pretty much a well paved/safer/cleaner version of Juarez.

I assume the word "hood" stands for neighborhoods and there is no implied criminality in the word hood, in short, these folks aret hard working folks for the most part 🙂

Agreed, from there myself and it’s full of the most down to earth, kind and humble working class people who for the most part are just struggling.

Those little one story houses look the ones serial killer Richard Ramirez grow up in. This was his home town. The actual house was washed away by a flood.

Not the worst place ever. Does seem kind of dead, but at least the streets are mostly paved and there aren't tents and needles everywhere

These Areas in El Paso do not really look bad. Now if you go into the ruff areas say like Los Angeles and surrounding areas. They look really bad graffiti all over the place. Kids out in the street at nighttime roaming around suspiciously or on drugs.
