Bukele, 42, is set to govern for another five years with near-total control of parliament and other state institutions after his New Ideas party dominated in legislative polls on the back of a brutal but popular gang crackdown.

I’m in the United States and hope we can also have a president like him. So many of our politicians only serve themselves and corporations best interests, not the people. Crime is going up even in once good neighborhoods that still cost so much money to buy a home. Million dollar neighborhoods homes getting broken into now where they didn’t happen just 4 years ago
