There is an old saying "those who can, "do " and those who can't " teach" .You prove this saying is false!. You are the greatest teacher and one of the best guitarists in the world. Love you.

I learned this piece long ago, but your excellent ideas make me want to go back and learn it again, especially to add more rubato. Thank you much for doing this lesson.

Thank you Gohar! Through watching a handful of your videos I have learned more about phrasing and nuance than I did as a classical guitar major at University. I can't thank you enough. Keep up the great work!

A piece with a sad story,, a popular Catalan folk song. It tells the story of a young lady in her deathbed who knowingly drank the poisoned drink given to her by her stepmother, whom she knows has been sleeping with her husband. It is commonly known as the first part of Miguel Llobet's Canciones Populares Catalanas. A piece played like the guitar is actually singing !! Or at least you play it as so,, again very nice

This piece reminds me a Schumann's Tramerei. Musically simple and yet so hard to play well.
@GoharVardanyan4 жыл бұрын
Yes, the simple things are more difficult, because they are so transparent.

Nice teaching! Should we use rest strokes for melody lines? Or just emphasize them with free strokes?
@GoharVardanyan3 жыл бұрын
Whatever sounds best, I mix it up :) If done well, no one should be able to tell the difference in what kind of stroke you use.

Hi dear Gohar , thanks for all things thank you for your great lessons and you beautiful performance... I really appreciate... Gohar I have a question about this piece. The Tempo in this piece is , Andante Espressivo, I want to know with Which tempo in the metronome should I practice?
@GoharVardanyan4 жыл бұрын
Andante is between 80-100ish... I'd go towards 80 for the quarter note, it sounds nicer slower. Expressivo just means you're gonna do a lot of rubato. It's good to practice with the metronome to iron out any technical wrinkles, but after you work out the technical stuff you have to turn off the metronome to be more expressive and flexible with the time.
