Cerinza es otro de esos mágicos pueblos que al llegar pareciera que no tuviera nada con qué sorprenderte. Pero basta con cruzar un par de palabras con sus pobladores para empezar a descubrir tesoros escondidos. El primer día en este municipio boyacense, constatamos que los canastos de esparto son elaborados por manos campesinas y sabias que han heredado esta cultura de sus abuelos y así mismo transmiten esos conocimientos a sus hijos y nietos. Cerinza es un valle custodiado por montañas que guardan bellezas injustificables. El complemento, sin duda alguna, es el carisma y la hospitalidad de personas como Don Alejandro quien con cariño, se saca el bocado de la boca para dártelo. El Tíbet es uno de los cerros que vigila gran parte de la planicie boyacense, caminar por sus exigentes senderos hacen entender que la naturaleza reina en ese lugar.

Cerinza is one of the kind of places that when you arrive you think they have anything to offer you. But we have just to enjoy few words with the people who live here to start to discover hidden treasures. The first day in this place we found that the esparto’s baskets are made by artisans’ hands heritage of the ancestors who gave the knowledge to their sons and grandsons. Cerinza is a valley guarded by mountains that save amazing beauties. The complement of all this is the charisma and hospitality of people like Don Alejandro who, whit love, takes the mouthful out of your mouth. The Tibet is a hill that guards the huge plain of Boyaca. To walk by its paths makes you understand that nature reigns over this place.
