In this video, we're celebrating 1100 SUBSCRIBERS! You guys have been awesome, so to give back, I thought that I would develop a tool that might be useful to some of you. This tool tracks all of the nodes at one point in time on the Elastos carrier peer to peer network.

Great work Jimmy, do you have a video about what a carrier/SDK is etc? Could you make a super basics video? Sometimes I don't know the lingo but feel you are great at describing things in a simple way

Sure Joe, I think I can swing that. Until then, here's a brief synopsis: Carrier is the P2P network that all of the elastos applications use to communicate. Storing/communicating via a blockchain is slow and expensive, so Elastos uses this carrier network so that applications can communicate in real time and only use the slower, pricier blockchain options when absolutely necessary (when you need "trusted" storage, like for a transaction, transfer of some type of ownership, etc). SDK = software development kit - Basically that is software that developers give to other developers so that they can make programs using some set of technology a bit faster than they otherwise would. In this case, the Elastos Carrier SDK is software that allows developers to add Elastos functionality to their applications with minimal effort.

why does dallas have almost 2k nodes? I seen a job posting online in texas not sure which city but it was a Bitmain factory opening soon.

Good question! I meant to mention this on the video, but PeerJet (I) hosts about 1900 nodes in a data center in Dallas to have connection peering points for the network. These will probably be shifted to other data centers over the next few months to mitigate risk and increase redundancy.
