I don't care, the show is good even with the changes to the source material, and a 1:1 recreation would always suck because TV and books are different mediums. 3. They have 8, one hour episodes for a projected 8 seasons to tell the story of 15 huge books, OF COURSE there are changes, it'd be impossible to include everything.

Morgase is in the Tower. Stands to reason that she has a private conversation with her daughter about Elayne’s importance to the line of succession. If that’s the case Elayne could very well just be trying the crown on while inside her mother’s private chambers. The visual itself foreshadows events - doesn’t mean they had to have happened

Thanks for this breakdown. You've shed even more light on these scenes than others. Moraine working with that orb feels like it's more of her visions. Her dress, her neckace headpiece isn't something she would be wearing in the Waste. Moraine's has been perfect, wearing the appropriate clothing at each destination and circumstance.

Thank you, this was very interesting! I had assumed the happy Rand Mat and Perrin shot was a flashback/alternate timeline/t'a'r of some kind, but if it is in Episode 1, maybe not! I would love it if this was the three of them daring each other to go through a redstone doorway left with with Turak or Ishamael's treasures....

Rand has Lan's sword from S1 and S2. The Old Tongue inscription is the same, the S shaped guard is the same, and the over the shoulder scabbard has the buckle which matches all of Lan's gear from both seasons. The question then becomes what sword does Lan have? Did he retrieve the sword of the Malkieri kings from his room in Tar Valon? The one he seems to have given to Rand appears to be from Lord Agelmar.

No mystery about the Crown! Elaine walks into Morgase's room in Tar Valon. She's not there (fooling around with some gleeman) so Elaine tries on the crown. Thats it!

Here is my community college level take on 13:05 : This isn't just the same moment, or scene or sequence. It's the same shot. I bet the shot begins looking at the hill with the actors revealing themselves by climbing to the crest. They take in what they see, and then the camera swings up, around and wide behind them with either a crane or (more likely) a drone shot. The light, shadows and positioning of the actors is just too perfect. You couldn't do two separate shots, the medium wide from the front and then the wide crane from the back at two different times of the day, or on different days at the same time, the shadows will be in different positions. And you can see the ground so marks for the actors would be a pain in the ass to hide in post. I think this is a dynamic drone shot, probably with almost no dialogue and some sweeping, tear jerking music with chicks chanting in the Old Tongue.

The wheel of time is a great show, one I'll definitely rewatch with my friends in preparation of the 3rd season. For the haters, stop comparing the books to the series. Not every scenario in the book must be applied to TV. These actor's put in so much work and emotion to this so let's appreciate and Enjoy the showww

I don't think Siuan is surviving the coup. But also, I do not think she will get more contact with Moiraine, and I think that the scene with Siuan and Moiraine is actually Lanfear posing as Siuan in TAR to mess with Moiraine.

I don't mind Elayne and Aviendha being tohether with Rand (AND each other) in the series, but I hope it won't concern Min. At All. I still can't forgive Jordan for what he'd done with the character of Min in the books, so I hope she won't have to be bonded to Rand in the series and finally be independent as well as gender non-conforming. I just think that's the way she can be her true self))

In the pic of the Wonder Girls on the horses, you (and almost everyone else) think that this is Egwene as Amyrlin and Elayne a Keeper. I disagree about Elayne being Keeper. I think Nyaeve is Keeper. Look at the trappings on the horses. Nynaeve's horse is decked out more like Egwene's. I don't think that the Keepers horse would be as plain as Elayne's horse is.
