Thank you for this. It was very good. What about dark blondes 50% level 6 who don't want to be any darker, can you use a lighter demi like 7 or 8 to make the greys appear more like a highlight? Or is grey coverage with a demi optimal at 6 and below?

Hi Ms. Elaine, I’m a healthcare sales rep (well currently a bit unemployed) and in the hopes of saving $$, I head over to Sally’s and luckily only wasted money. I chickened out. Anyways, while having my own cup of Java, I landed on one of your videos and have been sucked into knowledge that is fascinating. Not only does this make me appreciate the few fine stylists I’ve met in my life, it will also help me communicate my needs better when I return to a salon. You are down to earth, interesting (you managed to get a full blown adhd woman to pay attention) and more like a physicist than a hairdresser. I’m determined to do my hair after I learn all the lessons!! P.S. I landed at a Salon Centric today and grabbed some of those Redken color glosses instead of that Sally’s mess. I need me one of those there books too!! LOL!!!

Schwarzkopf is a NN for grey, like 5NN, 6NN etc.

So 7* 2 is 14 minus your current level 5 means the answer is nine. You need to get to a level nine.
