There are a ton of first person game with full body IK and a tons of third person vr games. Example for 3rd person Vr games: - Moss 1+2 - Max Mustard - Ven - Lucky Tale - down the rabbit hole - hellblade - Chronos - Edge of Nowhere With the UEVR Injector/ VorpX / Luke Ross Mods you can basically play every third person game this way in VR

Not just the graphics, but it's interesting seeing the gameplay evolve, too. You can see kernals of gameplay used in earlier games that's either implemented or refined in later entries. And it all culminates in Astro Bot's first, fully fledged game. It's a great evolution over 11 years.

Rating every Astro Bot game 1. The Playroom: 3/10 I know this game was meant as a demo for the DualShock 4 controller and PlayStation camera, but it was just to boring to play. Cause the only things we get to do in this game is mess around with bots that are inside the controller/ vacuum them up, throw a bunch of items at them to play with, along with playing as an alien (who I’m 100% sure is the same alien from Rescue Mission, and do a speed run with a ninja bot. So I give it a rating of 3/10. 2. The Playroom: VR 7/10 Well the game isn’t as bad as the original Playroom, but it’s still overall fun. I found the mini games quite fun and interesting to play. Playing as the legendary PlayStation mascot Astro for the first time, escaping a giant sea monster and throwing junk at it (even play as the monster too). Survive a giant cat, shooting bandits in a bar, even fighting of an army of giant pixelated monsters and aliens in a giant mech. Though it’s quite upsetting to play it when it requires the PSVR1 (really annoying to find since stores stopped selling them, and the internet in Pecan Grove is too crappy when using the Walmart app and Amazon). Still good game 3. Astro Bot: Rescue Mission: 8/10 Astro Bot Rescue Mission was the next best game you could ever play on a VR headset. We play as Astro and we go on a crazy adventure across the galaxy to find our crew mates and rebuild the ship. The worlds we explored were so colorful and beautiful to explore, plus I like some of the goofy enemies we had to fight. Plus those bosses were so amazing to fight as well. A giant gorilla (whose teeth are more fragile than cardboard), a lava octopus, a giant bird with a helmet, a material gorl spider, a shark (my personal favorite) and a giant alien (then again pretty sure that’s the same one from The Playroom). Not to mention the crazy gadgets we get to use too, like the grapple gun, water hose, controller mini gun, and ninja stars. Still the game is upsetting to play since it’s on the PSVR 4. Astro’s Playroom: 7/10 Astro’s playroom was really short to play considering is a demo for the PS5, but overall it’s still good. The worlds we got to visit and the attractions we got to saw were even way more colorful than Rescue Mission. Plus finding all the PlayStation game consoles felt like its history was coming all together. Plus I liked how the bots would act like videogame characters throughout our adventure. And then theirs Astro’s transformations in the game, where we play as a monkey and climb up a mountain, roll all around as a ball, jump on lily pads as a bull frog, and fly in space inside of a tiny space pod. But I wish that some of the bosses in the game were longer though, but that T. rex was still fun. 5. Astro Bot: 10/10 This game has to be the best game to play in 2024, it’s like Astro’s Playroom and Rescue Mission merged together into this beautiful masterpiece. This game was so much fun to play, we finally get to play as Astro again after 4 years of the PS5. For instance, the graphics, sights and Galaxies are still great as ever, along with the enemies but my favorite part of the game was the power up’s and the bosses. The rocket bulldog, froggy boxing gloves, an inflatable squid (and don’t even think about mentioning DeviantArt inflation fetish), and my favorite, the steel pinball. Plus the bosses were the best part. Some of the bosses from rescue mission returning and getting their revenge (even if it’s the bosses’ siblings, R.I.P Shark and spider). And the mini bosses were just as fun. And somehow this game feels a lot like Super Mario Galaxy 3 (at least now I can get SMG2 off my mind since I can’t get a Wii). Even if these have some different ratings, all of the game are still great

Because the previous astrobot games were more like mini games or demos. They cost about 20 $ or was at free and you can finish them in about 3 hours. Also some of them were for the PS VR 1 and not a lot of people had the VR 1 at home. Astrobot for the PS5 is the first big 70 $ more than 10 hours playtime astrobot game.
