Elastic Cohesive Bandage, also known as a self-adhering bandage, is a type of self adhesive bandage which adheres to itself rather than adhering to skin or hair. It is of the non-woven coated with latex or synthetic glue. This type of cohesive bandage is washable and able to be removed with ease. Self adhesive bandages materials allow for a high degree of comfort and breathability for the injury.
Elastic Cohesive Bandages are designed to provide light compression and soft tissue support for minor strains and sprains, to secure splints and hot and cold packs, or to hold wound care dressings in place without use of additional adhesives.
