This is one of the songs Elbow performed when they won the 2008 Mercury Music prize. Guy was wailing on a piece of square steel tube with a hammer. It was either live, or they'd recorded a version for broadcast, because there was a real ''ring'' to his pounding. A Brilliant Performance! All of "The Seldom Seen Kid" is great. The Fix". is so 'sleazy' I feel like I need a shower after listening to it. There's not a bad track on that album. Best Wishes. ☮
