The song that got me REALLY into Elbow - back in 06, which wasnt a bad year for music to be fair. The World cup and the hot summer... Gorillaz, Kasabian, Primal Scream, even the Kooks were somewhat bearable when the sun was out! There was even some good dance music knocking about! lol. Glad Elbow won the mecury and mainstream success with seldom seen kid. They deserve it, Guy Garvey is an amazing writer.

This song is proof that Elbow are able and can make excellent music, but I believe this one song doesn't prove that an entire nation is the best world :D We also have som excellent musicians and song writers in my country (Norway), but I bet most of the other nations in the world only know about the band "a-ha" (they had a world wide hit with the song 'Take on me' in case you needed some extra info ;-) ) 'Leaders of the free world' was the song that got me into Elbow, and is one of the songs that I don't think I am able to get tired of!!
