Elda Jeep CJ-7 Restoration - AMC 20 Axle Rebuild - Episode 7

We head to Ring & Pinion Services for a full rebuild of our Expedicion de las Americas rear AMC 20 axle. In addition to wide use in the CJ, the AMC 20 was found in the Jeep SJ Wagoneer and Cherokee. Our expedition Jeep's 20 will receive gears and bearings from Sierra Gear & Axle and an Eaton TrueTrac limited-slip differential.

Thanks. Getting the preload and backlash can be tricky, and as you can see it can take several attempts, even for a pro.
