Great! I had a 1943 GPW back in the late 80s. The longest distance I ever drove it was about 60 miles…loved the “cruise control”.

I got a pretty detailed look at this thing in Pomona before it went to SEMA. It’s more art than car at this point.

You don’t have to lie though, I watched the build, you and a co worker put a lot of work into this Jeep while Fred went galavanting around the country… 🤣

I envision a forward tilt hood with a grill like insert for the rear of hood to ride also still allowing air flow for added cooling. Paint it in the same patina as the rest of the vehicle so it blends in.

So cool. Fred and friends really delivered on this one. The first jeep I ever saw in real life was a CJ10 dropside tray ute. It was in the 80s and I live in Australia so jeeps were rare to begin with back then. The styling was so peculiar that even as a 12 year old kid it made a lasting memory. This build brought that memory back to life and made it even cooler. Also I drive a NIssan 6 cylinder diesel ute on the daily so the cool points just kept multiplying.

The hood being raised is to let heat out. People pay big money for that upgrade. Sick build. I miss dirt everyday

_"Meticulously restored"..._ Too funny. It is, however, "one cool ride". I drive a restored Willys MB. Runs the mighty 60+ horsepower Willys 134 inch 'Go Devil' flathead 4 with side valves, 1 barrel carb, 6 volt generator / separate voltage regulator, crappy brakes, 'Ross box' steering, riding on 6X16 military NDTs... she's a peach! I do, however, also have a hopped up '46 flattie with Kenne Bell equipped 225 Buick V6 'Odd Fire', short headers, fat tires... .

This truck is really cool! Good mix of old and new. It’s always cool to see any CJ10 in any variation because of how rare they are.

Very cool. The SCCA Race Truck series was pretty cool back in the day. They limited the engine size so all the race trucks had 4 cylinders. Too bad we didn't get a look under the hood. I'm sure people would dismiss it though. Probably also why the guy mentioned he was going to install a turbo. I once had a Stage 3 Purple cam for the 2.5L that was directly related to that series. Supposedly, they were getting around 270 hp NA out of the race engines. Sadly, not much information is readily available anymore.
