I’m pretty sure you can have the MTPLM upgraded to 1500kg at no cost, if you have a suitable towcar.

Good evening Karina , been a lovely warm and sunny day here. Each time I watch one of your reviews I am gobsmacked at the amount of information you give ( without a script ) and the details and measurements too. I like what you like in that stargazer roof light . I like the placement of the microwave too , means its not above the hob as usual. plus that whole area next to the sink. good space. Thats quite a large area for a bathroom . the corner shower and the room has a wardrobe . Do you often stand in your wardrobe then Karina or is that where Jules and you play hide n seek?lol

Hi Karina, I watched the review on the two Swifts and too wonder why they make the beds short. But I do love the Elddis much better, we saw the Compass version over easter and would consider this layout to replace our Lunar Clubman ES once our daughter start camping on her own unless Elddis brings back the 530 version with the 520 bathroom. Looking forward to more van reviews

You can request an uprated plate for the 520 and this would bring your mtplm to 1500kg, so an extra 155kg, but factor this into your towing figures

Good thorough review, Thankyou. With all that storage in the bathroom though, you wouldn't put clothes and shoes in the unit opposite the kitchen. Surely that's for food etc!

We have the affinity 462 its 2018 and an end kitchen model. We switched from an end bathroom 2 birth, because as much as the bathrooms are lovely and spacious, they eat into the limited space of a two birth. Obviously Elddis disagree because they discontinued the end kitchen in 2019. Sadly our van is in for damp repair work at the moment.

Both 60 years old, about to buy our first caravan. Looked at a 4 berth (fixed bed), never towed before - is it wrong to look at a cheaper 2 berth with awning?

Thank you for watching, fantastic news on the caravan, I would suggest the fixed bed so youre not having to make the beds each night. There are plenty of single axle smaller caravans. Once you have had a few tows it won’t be an issue I am sure. An awning can be quite a challenge especially in bad weather. All the best with it 😊
