In Elden Ring you can obtain many of the best weapons and armor sets from defeating enemies. Many of these enemies have a very low drop chance however and so to increase the drop chance we can use the Silver Pickled Fowl Foot to gain an additional +50 drop chance. Silver Pickled fowl foot is crafted using 3 resources which I will show you how to get in this Elden Ring guide, including Rowa Fruit farming location, four toes fowl foot farming location and the silver firefly farming location. I will also show you where to find the silver-pickled fowl foot recipe location too early on in elden ring. Using silver pickled fowl foot is the equivalent of increasing your arcane attribute by over 50 points, which is a very in efficient way of increasing drop chance. With this higher drop chance it becomes allot easier to farm rare armor sets and hidden weapons in Elden Ring.

The irony is that you can use the silver pickled fowl foot on the birds at the beach shown to increase your odds of getting the four toed fowl foot. It's the only ingredient that requires a drop rate. Use one or two to stock up on the feet, and then gain a nice surplus for later. Souls games are hard to survive in a lot of ways, but unlike a lot of games, there is no inventory carry weight! Unless the items bother you there's no reason not to collect everything not bolted down. Personally, better check your fingers if you shake my hand, I might try to pass off your fingers to invade you later. Lol

Nice one. Took me a while to see the utility of this item.. Incidentally, when you're killing the beach birds, eat a silver pickled fowl foot first! The drop rate of the four toed fowl foot rather than the pinion goes up and takes farming these to industrial levels.

I struggled to get one foot every 10 birds but after I levelled up arcane and eat one before farming almost have 1/2 bird drop a foot.. way easier to farm when arcane is levelled up and eating a silver foot before hand.

I stupidly forgot to mention the Silver Scarab talisman (Hidden Path to the Haligtree) and the Silver Tear Mask both of which buff your arcane/ find rate. I'm picking up 10 or 11 feet every run now.

Theres an even easier penguin site just a few yards away from the impassable greatbridge grace. Right behind the tree are three penguins. Using silver tear mask, radagons icon talisman, marikas sorseal talisman, silver scarab talisman and mohgwyns sacred spear, you immediately jump onto the rock where the penguins are and right as you land on the rock, youre in range for the mohgwyn spears blood ritual attack to take all 3 birds out at once. Dont get too close or theyll try to take off, which sometimes the birds will still get wiped by the blood ritual before they can fly away, but other times the birds have flown their corpses right off the cliff along with the fowled feet they carry. Its quick, easy and cost-efficient. During the duration of one silver pickled fowl foot I got 14 four toed fowl feet.

This one didn't work for me. Fewer birds and it's only a tiny bit closer to the grace than the Church is to the beach and the birds fell off most of the time so there was aways clean up.

Yep. Just Sneak around the back don’t try to fight her until after lighting the grace. I got rekt by her and lost a ton of runes because I got sloppy riding back and got ganked by a bunch of wolves .

arcane also increases blood loss build up % on bleed weapons. like river's of blood katana, Eleonora's poleblade and weapons you add bleed ashes of war too... with seppuku a normal katana or sword can increase blood loss buildup to +100 so when you fight bosses weak to bleed in 3-4 hits blood loss occurs. correction - increasing arcane does not have diminishing returns on discovery.

there's a lot of birds on the beach sure, but the impassable bridge in caelid has less distance to a grace (3 on the cliff, easily caught in quick aoe like hoarfrost stomp)

Yep, much faster, the site of grace just at the entrance to the impassable bridge is only a few feet to three birds, AOE them, rest at the grace site, rinse and repeat. I use that location to farm ingredients for the golden pickled foul feet too (which gives a 30% increase in runes for 3 minutes). Also, there is another site of grace just east with a merchant and a pond to the North where golden fire flies can be harvested .

If i want to farm i just respec... put a lot into arcane ... have the ring and consumable...plus silver tear helmet(don't go all the way to 99 or the helmet is useless... go to 91 i believe)... spend my time getting what i want and then respec back to my original build

Statistically speaking the 6 eagles in the Siofra River Area/Ancestral Woods are the best. They are right next to a grace so you should get a fowl foot every 5-15 seconds

Might adjust the title, its +50 item discovery, not a 50% increase in drop rates. Drop rates in souls games focus on the discovery value with drop likelihood getting better as that increases, but +50 to that value does not result in a 50% higher drop rate in all cases. It would if your base discovery is only 100.

I have tested this extensively and I absolutely guarantee you that the small black birds that look like penguins drop more forefingered foul feet then the birds that look like eagles definitely the best place to farm them is near the impassable bridge in Southern Khalid just a few steps away from the side of grace are three of the small black birds if you have the misbee gotten bow with the barrage ash of war you can shoot them very quickly It doesn't take you very long to get a lot of feet

The “Below the well” site of grace is more efficient for farming birds. There is no run to the location once you’ve discovered the grace and there are usually 5-7 birds there. by far the fastest way ive gotten. kill the birds go sit down and repeat.

been trying to get the "cuckoo knight armor" for the last 6 hours but no luck at all, i was able to get pieces for the legs, arms, the helm and shield but no armor, after 6 hours finally gaveup for tonite. Thanks for the informative video. But I don't think you should be telling people to not level up Arcane. I think there are several spells the you can use regardless of build. The dragon head fire is nice for creating groups of enemies. I think never level it pass 20 is better is the better recommendation.

You can't summon here, your video shows that as there's no tombstone icon on the left to show you CAN summon! Easiest way is to go past the ruins then head towards the cliff edge to the right and enter from the rear, you can get the items and the Grace without the invader spawning.
