One by one, he felled opposition to his power, slaughtering and eating Godrick, Rennala, Radahn, Morgott the Omen King, Maliketh, and with each enemy he ate Bayle took their strength from them, consumed their power and taking a facet of them into himself. Destined Death, coveted by the ancient drake, to slay an ancient foe. When Vile Bayle stood before the old Dragonlord, the outcome was clear. For tho Placidusax was mighty, he was also tired, weary, whereas Bayle had been nurturing a grudge for years untold, and it had only turned his scars into a source of motivation. The Dragonlord, too, was butchered like a wild animal, eaten in great, heaving bites. Even the Lord of Blasphemy, whose own motivations centered upon the devouring and digestion of foes, met with this fate. The God-Devouring Serpent, rendered but another meal for the Dragon. What interactions would there be, between the flesh of Blasphemy and Bayle’s molten innards? None can say, but there are terrifying implications indeed. There was one place in the Lands Between spared the wrath of this vengeful Arch-Drake: the Haligtree of Miquella. And so Malenia was left dreaming. Perhaps the Drake feared the Scarlet Rot, even as other demigods fell left and right. Finally, with Radagon, and with him, Queen Marika herself, sliding down the drake’s throat, the deed was done. The Erdtree, burned to the ground. It’s smoldering wreck, a testament to the power of the land’s new, hateful sovereign. Not to incinerate all that divides and distinguishes, but simply to incinerate all who would ever challenge Bayle, Vile Bayle, Hated Bayle, again. Our seed will look back upon us and recall our helplessness before the maelstrom of fire and spite. Our Age of Dread.

That fight is essentially "can Midir stance break Bayle enough times to equalize the HP disparity?". Considering Bayle only has 5k more health than Radabeast, which Midir comfortably destroys, the answer is probably yes. But who knows, Bayle hits harder than Radabeast.

They are literally designed to always knock you on your ass regardless of what armor or shield you are using. Elden Ring bosses are all designed with stance breaking as a goal you should be aiming for, and as such, they stance break easier. Bayle isn't tanking that.
