@@wyattthealchemist I haven’t played before and put about 5/6 hours in before I watched a beginner tips video. Definitely can figure out some things on your own, but you need to watch a video like this if you want to know some important features. Love that the game lets you figure everything out on your own. Considering going back for other games now!

This is an absolute excellent beginners guide to Elden Ring. I haven’t finished the video yet but i am blown away at how you explain what needs to be explained, while refraining from spoilers or directing players on what to do. You don’t state what’s the best build, you don’t say avoid xyz, you really give listeners/viewers sole tips on how to approach the game but leave it up to them. So much I could write but great job. Thank you for taking the time to put this out.

Knew I could trust your early videos to be spoiler free and I loved how you mentioned on the last one that if you haven't seen the early parts of the game to minimize the window because it's exactly how I've been watching all your elden ring content. I've stayed blind since the game made its come back with that initial trailer but I've been listening to all your vids to build hype and minor mechanical knowledge while preserving that blind experience for my eyes specifically. I have nothing but respect for a content creator in today's world that has such genuine concern for another players experience. It was nice having some content to get me through the work day without fear of hearing something I didn't want to

It should also be mentioned that a great strength regarding the Wretch is that when / if you respec you start with 10 on all attributes, so you can completely respec the character exactly as you please. When you respec your character it resets to the starting attributes of your chosen class, so if you start with for instance Prisoner class, you will start with 6 Faith every time you respec, which means if you want to respec to a Faith build, you'd have to assign 4 points just to get it to 10. With the Wretch you really have a clean slate, and it doesn't take a lot of grinding to reach the starting levels of the other classes. Also it makes it SO much more special when you finally get some pants to wear! The gear you find in the world will really be fulfilling!

Take your time and explore a lot you will naturally level up to a point where you will be comfortable taking on boss content. If you face a wall boss wise go elsewhere and go back once you levelled up/ picked up new items or spells

Don’t give up. It’s natural to feel overwhelmed at first. I quit DS1 and sold the game only to rebuy it a few months later. It just clicked for me the second time I played and have been hooked for 11 years now. Stick with it and you will be rewarded with an incredible experience. These games really are incredible.

Damn man...I've watched several starter guides and learned more here than all of them combined. Just learning I could 2 hand and how to use ashes of war was worth it alone. The only things you didn't show were, blocking, parrying, and there are some special rolling attacks I discovered like forward roll followed by light attack. Great work though. Subscribed 😎👊

I think it's important to mention for bandit, it isn't confirmed yet, but it seems likely that the arcane stat will affect items that do damage. So if your build wants to focus around using craftable items, pick bandit

Very well laid out guide. I have never really liked Souls type games because if the rolling around combat but I thought I would give this one a go. Still hard to get the hang of combat though. I don't button mash but still...my friend says I fight to aggressively and that's what makes it hard.

I’ve never played a souls game before. Didn’t have access to the consoles or PC needed to play. And the difficulty was just not for me. But with the QOL features I wanted to try this out. And man I’m loving it. I’m playing as the vagabond and having so much fun. I might try another play through with a magic class or even the samurai. Samurai looks very fun

Informative, metered narration, great examples for use and function! Thank you! I'm not new to souls-borne games...not new to open world games...but I know that From Software loves fuckin with you till you GET IT...of course I could have re-rolled 5 toons and spent hours experimenting and gotten all this knowledge...but bless your heart, I just watched an hour video that summed up a lot of questions I had...without losing a bunch of souls/blood/...whatever it's called in this game, LOL Honestly, thanks!
