I’ve been using Morgots cursed sword and reduvia offhand and it’s amazing, every hit does bleed and the r2 has lingering fire/bleed damage 😍😍 and you can switch to a projectile instantly.

that Combo is amazing i also like having offhand Dagger and another Reduvia to swap to after the CurvedGreatSword so i can get powerstanced Daggers for very fast Build up or the Bleed Projectile

Just a tip in regards to the black guard build for other people that love lifesteal fist. Lifesteal fist counts as a crit so anything that boosts crit damage will also boost lifesteal fist. I recommend putting the lifesteal fist ash of war on an occult pair of claws because the range will be similar, less dex requirement than clinging bone, they have 110 crit, and innate bleed is always nice if you’re pumping arcane anyway. Sure you can’t grab a ton of enemies but everything you can grab gets absolutely humiliated. My favorite way to bully crucible knights.

I’ve been having a lot of fun with the poison flower blooms twice. I have it on the antspur rapier, poison affinity. I power stance with rogier’s rapier, chilling mist AoW, cold affinity. I also switch over to the repeating crossbow with burred bolts to proc bleed, I use cold bone bolts as well sometimes. Then on my left hand I have the claw mark seal for buffs, bestial incantations, and pest thread spears. I fuck around with a lot of consumables too but farming for crafting material is such a pain in the ass. You should really be able to buy everything you need.

The build that carried me through first Dlc-Playthrough were an Arcane-Strength-build, using a blood-infused greatsword with the wild lionsclaw ash of War. The extreme high bloodloss buildup + high damage works perfectly with the ash of War an can poisebreak every enemy in a few hits.

Blood Dragon is my main setup, but that Blood Lancer build is why the Sword Lance is definitely one of my favorite weapons now. It absolutely shreds.

eochaid has got to be my most favourite among them. combined with rotten breath for large area stuff, that has carried me through the endgame with ease.

Had a ton of fun with the eochaid executioner build, really cool and easy weapon to use... but the best here might be the dragon god since those red lightnings are the best incantations in the game.

My second character/playthrough was with Eleonoas Poleblade and Dragon incants. Still the most fun playthrough I've had - and the only time I've ever been sad to see Malenia die 😆

One of the great things about the Maria's Executioner's Sword build is you can also use the Giant Crusher (Occult) and power-stance Twinblades with the same stats. This was one of my favorite characters. Very flexible, very deadly. My stats were: 62 str, 18 dex, 45 arc. For the DLC, I would go up to 60 vig, and 25 fai for Golden Vow. Have fun Tarnished!

The problem I have with new builds is then I have to learn how to use them, so I end up going back to my tried and true. Best I can do is have a weapon I am 'trying out' in my second slot, like say, Elenora's Poleblade, so I'll switch to it for fun and practice. Anytime though that I'm having trouble, it's back to my tried and true.

playing a double dagger build for the first time - reduvia in main hand, trying to focus bleed damage. is it better to mix status debuffs like have my left hand do bleed and scarlett rot or double down on extra bleed damage in my offhand? thanks! You definitely don't want to try to mix *those* two - the version of Rot given by weapons, just like ordinary poison, is shit unless you're using very specific things in a rot build. You really only want blood.

12:04 "out-lee-er" instead of "out-lie-er"... more creative pronunciation there. I do similar things sometimes. I think people who grow up reading a lot and aren't very outgoing end up with pronunciation quirks since they see words written but don't hear them spoken

Actual best arcane build is chicken wing on blood infusion. with 54str/45arc, you min max this build, and can swap into the Ancient Meteoric Ore Great Sword for bleed-immune bosses, or bosses with "get off me mechanics" (like Malenia) that you want to chase down with the OP white light charge ash.
