Yeah, that's why ¾ of them are bleed builds. But in my case I was lucky in my two playthroughs, in the first one because I beat the game during the launch week so the PvP meta wasn't developed, so there weren't many broken builds yet. In the second one I played as a mage and I had Night Comet, NPCs don't even attempt to dodge it because it's an invisible sorcery, so I just spammed it until they were all dead.

@SifArtorias2 жыл бұрын
I can tell you what that was at 22:08. It's a bug that's existed in older From Soft games where a hitbox can get stuck active in that spot if the boss phase transitions mid-attack. Basically that hitbox is stuck there until you take a hit from it, or reload the area.

This might be the most entertaining challenge run video I've seen. So many of them boil down to "using a specific bad weapon" and that gets really boring when every boss fight becomes the same slog with different moves to dodge. Theme runs like this are way more interesting and allow for more varied strategies. I also liked that you fought quite a few optional bosses and showed gameplay in between them instead of only showing major bosses. Narration and editing are also on point. All in all I'm really excited to see where your channel goes!
@mr.snawley2 жыл бұрын
This feels like it fits the lore of the game tbh. All the main bosses have their niche to set them apart. A Lord of Pots seems completely feasible within the game.

Oh, I believe I know what's going on with the little shield girls in the Rennala fight! I'm pretty sure the shield girls need to take posture/poise damage to break the shield, which I'm fairly sure the volcano pot doesn't do, so the shield won't ever break. It's happened to a couple other challenge runners, like when someone did a mist-only run.
@AnRPGslime Жыл бұрын
Great video but there is a thing that would be nice to add in future challenge run vids, like explaining what the items you get do; for those of us that dont play a lot of elden ring, like I have no idea what the pot talismans do. But still great quality and very entertaining
@enlongjones23942 жыл бұрын
A thing for Rennala: You can break the shield by using Rejection on the little guys. Rejection knocks them over, but doesn’t do any damage. Similarly, you can use Rejection to break the armor on the Crystallian enemies without doing damage.

This was a great vid, you've earned yourself a subscriber. Hare's something you might not know. Godfrey/Horah Luax is actually weak to sleep. You might already know that but might not have mentioned it. It may have been worth using lord of blood pots to enrage the pot puppet to make them toss more pots the enrage effect from the blood pot's and Mohg's rune is about a 30% damage boost but I don't know if that applies to throwbles or not. This is likely against the rules or might just not be somthing you'd considered but mimic tear has infinite uses of any consumable item you give them so you could have made them into a full customisable jar puppet giving you indirect access to bleed, frost,rot and Mohg blood pots so the summon can enrage themselves. (On an off note BlackFlame protection is brilliant on the mimc. )

Very cool concept! I’ve myself been playing a general consumables run, where rather than only pots, the rule is only damaging with consumable items. This allows stuff like Kukris, but takes away the Jar Cannon. I am allowing the Jar-wight and Soldjars of Fortune, though. I’m interested in seeing the rest of this video (posting at 1:00), since the later bosses seem like they’ll be Big Problems. Playing with just throwables has proven to be a lot of fun. Stuff like the Volcano Pot in particular has proven to be something i think I’d use just in normal runs, even.

I hate to tell you this due to the video being older now, but Godskin Duo can be put to Sleep SUPER EASILY. So anyone watching this video, know that you just need to put Godskin Noble to sleep and deal with Apostle. Then it's forever 1v1, If he happens to wake up, put the hurt Godskin to sleep and swap targets. You can put them to sleep again, but it takes more sleep pots. First off, loved the video! Second, concerning the portion at 12:00: I'm not sure if this was unknown or just not cared about, but the merchant by the Bellum Church in Northern Liurna sells the Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook (13) that lets you turn one hefty beast bone into five bone ballista bolts. Take out the bell-bearing hunter at Warmaster's Shack in Limgrave to get the Bone-Peddler's Bell Bearing, allowing you to buy hefty beast bones for 250 runes a pop, which after the 1:5 crafting ratio translates to 50 runes per shot fired instead of the 300 you're paying for regular ballista bolts.

I did not know that but I definitely would have used that if I had known! I love info like this! It's a nice way to min/max the runes spent on bolts. I've been thinking about a part 2 for this build for the DLC so I might be able to but this to use. Appreciate it!
