Pro tip: You can do this mounted as well (as long as you are casting from your right hand), so you don't need to summon Torrent,,, just run back to the grace

I've calculated this farm, you get about 500k every 3 minutes (with gold scarab and gold pickled fowl foot) that's 1,500,000 in just under 10 minutes but we'll use 10 to make it easier to understand, 1,500,000 × 6 = 9 million, that's on average 6.5 million better than the bird farm with the best strategy (end game sword). Don't worry if an hour sounds like a long time, trust me, it flies by. Anyway back to the calculations, 9,000,000 × 24 (if you grind nonstop for a day) = 216,000,000 which if your character is at level 200 that means your levels will equate to around 370 (since you have to spend 7,000-11,400 more runes for each level at this point until you get to level 370) so grab your redbulls and get a good nights rest because if you want a good farm, I'm here to tell you that mathematically this is the best one I've seen so far and I'm absolutely blown away.

You get more from the bird farm. With talisman and gold scarab you pull in 300-400k in three minutes iff you know how to do pull the bird/reset it just right in mog palace.

Bird farm is significantly faster as you can shot the bird use the end game sword and destroy the sleeping mob and collect over 200k per min. Problem with this farm is it takes too long to kill the dragon 🐉 once there much faster methods then this new farm will be better. I'm at level 307 took less than a day to get here just by doing the bird and mob farm. This dragon 🐉 looks good cause u see a 120k however. U get way more just by swing ur blade run back to rest and swing again. However for ppl without end game weapon I see how this dragon 🐉 may seem faster. Ask a friend or join a discord to get the end game sword and it will change your world.

Um.. if you have the endgame sword and are on NG+1, which we are assuming for this: NOT pulling the bird and doing the L2 hit once you get 110k but let's round it to 100k runes per 10 seconds or 600k /min or 36mil for 1hr worth. Now add 5 seconds for the bird hit, that's a clean 43k so let's call it 145k every 15 seconds / 580k per min or 34.8mil per hrs. Doing the dragon IF you can it up and don't make a single mistake, the dragon run is only giving you 140k per 30 secs / 280 a minute or just under 17 mil in an hour. If you're on first playthrough, cut the numbers directly in half and you're still better off without ANY risk of losing your farm nor being bored for 15-25 seconds!

@@phoenixphxx8130 exactly what I basically said. . . I suspect for ppl who haven't finish the game to have access to the end game weapon . . . This may be faster . . . Maybe... highly doubt it tho. Because!!!!!!!!! then u can simply respec ur stats to use radahn weapon or mog blood spear...both of which have a wide AOE atk that will clear farm spot with two L2/LT ... then respec when u got to the level want. P.s the farm spot is located in mog palace so simply kill mog to get his spear. Radahn weapon u get from killing radahn in the main story caelid region. Both are remembrance u have to bring to the finger. Those are just some alternative options if u have not finish the game to have access to the end game faith sword. Both are slower but they will get the job done. . .until u have access to the end game sword once u do. Then simply press L2 and watch 80% of the mob dies and see how much runes u collect in seconds. U don't even have to kill everyone as it faster runes per second if u just swing it let the wave kill the mob while u walk back to rest point rinse and repeat.

Great farm, only problem is I only got to do it 3 times before the dragon died. Problem for me was that I have my horse set to hold Y then up on the D-pad instead of having it set to bottom of the D-pad and press x. I messed up and it took me 2-3 seconds to bring out my horse which made me a second too late to the grace lol. If anyone is gonna try this make sure to have your horse set to your quick items instead of pouch

For anybody who reads this you also don't need swarm of flies if you are not there in the game yet to pick it up or don't have the faith I used antspur rapier +5 with bloodslash on it so it has rot and bleed build up and it's was about 2mins per run and with golden foot thing it was 125k a run

A few things wrong, to consider and tips...... 1st: put your magic weapon with wich you use swarm in the right hand and just stay on your horse. you only have to leave your horse when reseting, this will safe alot of time over time. 2nd: consider putting alot of points into mind, so you dont have to use FP potts, later you can respec anyway... also a neat way to safe time over time... 3rd: you can also use the FP buff that gives you 10 sec unlimited FP, just drink it a few steps before attacking. 4th: this does NOT give you 20.000.000 per hour, simple math ( i calculated that a good run takes 1 min give or take a few sec... ) so 150k x 60 = 9mil.. wich isnt bad at all... 5th: those here saying that the bird is faster, NO NO NO, its not faster... made the math, and you get apr 30% less runes in the same time. moghs give more tho with the endboss weapon! 6th: safe every now and then to the cloud (make a backup) so if you kill him on accident, you can go back... 7th: dont bother with int, arc or any other stats, it wont highten the 13k dmg, since those numbers are used in % from his HP.. so it doesnt matter if you got 18 arc or 99... same dmg. 8th: to reach level 500 with this (asuming you get 150k per run and apr 9 mil per hour) you need apr 50 hours... to reach max level youd need apr 190 hours of farming...

I'm not sure if faith Stat can increase runes but I was getting 5500 per but then increased faith Stat and started getting 6800 per.. scarab was on the whole time for both and never had a fowl foot active.. was going to see if a maxed out faith Stat could boost it even more or if yall know what might be making the difference 🤷‍♂️

@@matthewarnett2821 Sacred relic sword off the last boss then the same spot you shoot the big dumb bird in Moghs. Weapon art is a massive light wave that conveniently goes down hill and one shots those little guys. 40k per light wave and super quick to reset.

For anyone who have already killed the dragon, another money making method that many people apparently don't know about, is shooting a chicken consistently. Basically, what you need to do is go to the same grace you he spawned in to get the spell and simply take out a bow and you should see a bird-like creature. You then want to simply go forward until you reach the edge of the rock and shoot the bird and once you see it walk of the edge you can then go back to the grace which is just about a roll away and repeat.

Was this recorded pre-patch? With the golden scarab im getting 60k, so it seems to have been nerfed. Also - couple of notes - 1) you can cast from horse back 2) You can get enough Arcane for the spell by equipping the Silver Tear Mask and Marika's Scarseal, with every class, without having to put any points into Arcane *edit: I just realised i already had the faith requirements, but i would imagine the +3 from Marikas towards the 11 min required should be enough for that too* 3) If you see the dragon heart loots you need to do the cloud recover save scum trick

Tbh tho I have tried alot of methods for killing them and NONE are nearly as efficient as the relic sword. Go ahead and beat the elden beast and equip your sacred scarab and pop a golden foot you'll make a mil in 5 mins or less. Far too easy.

Yes ton faster, after grace, go to the part of the cliff closest to the grace, shoot the bird, bird falls for runes. Use a big aoe skill (sacred relic's wave of gold is best) to kill the mobs on the road. But this dragon is a good early game method to powerlevel

The thing that is easy to get at the beginning of the game is the Dragon Communion Seal. Should be a little bit more detailed on that part. The swarm of flies spell is at the top of the map which I haven’t even discovered yet. Pain.

Not To Say This Farm isnt Good for Start Game and Mid Game Players but. for end game this is completely insufficient with out gold scarab and gold pickled fowl foot you cant get 120k runes in 10 to 15 seconds depending ing on how fast you are. With both active that increases to 180k runes every 15 seconds do again again that will be roughly 720k runes a minute times 60 and on paper you can get 43million runes a hour But if we gonna be more realistic to actual people i would say about 140k every 15 seconds times 4 560k a minute and about 33million a hour But that is also a little to far fetched cause you need alot of pickled fowl foots to achieve that in the first place So By Ordinary standers with only Gold Scarab about 120k every 15 seconds which is 420k every minute which is about 25million a hour That is the most realistic amounts you will get on all fields By The Way This Counts in For The Sacred Sword Endgame Farm Not This One This farm is insufficient like i said for anyone above level 200

Mohgwyn farm doesn’t give 150k runes in ng+, at least in ng+1. I’m in ng+1 and the exp is doubled so in mohgwyn i got 80k per run but the dragon will also drop the double of xp

Farming the dragon like that is not 100% guarantee be able to farm it over and over like that. Meaning if you are late getting back to the grace in time it's over the dragon will be gone. My self I choose using Sacred Relic Sword at Palace Approach Ledge-Road.

You get like 45k in 5 seconds nuking the turtle looking guys next to the bird everyone shoots for 10k with a bow... Resets without any issues...no tricks just spawn and nuke.. The final boss's sword is best but any aoe will work if you hitting them for around 1.4k... Much easier ....no stress of anything disappearing too 🤷🏻‍♂️

Cool if you have the endgame sword. Blasphemous blade needs 2 hits for me on the red dudes...one for the other dudes. Still takes up more time for me, because you can actually shoot the bird from the grace site cliff edge and not further up like I thought was the only spot that worked. So yeah everyone running further up in the middle of around the grace/mob area is wasting a lot of time. And I use Loretta's Mastery for the pulls..not my actual bow.

Important tip: Have task manager up so that if you fuck up and the dragon dies you can end task on elden ring and pray that the game hasn't autosaved yet. This trick has also helped me with accidentally attacking NPCs or dropping a key item.

Tried this and the dragon was dying, got back to the site of grace and sat down. When I came back out it said I had the dragon heart, the dragon is gone and I didn't get any ruins what so ever!

I've been doing some testing on this, and it's taking me 1min for 50k runes per run. Seems to have been nerfed :( Shooting the bird at Mogwyn's is a quicker farm for me.

You can hit the dragon directly from the horse if you find yourself a good position. That way you don't have to panic like I did when you couldn't get on the horse.

You use a mace which does bleed damage but it’s not as quick as the spell but it will get the job done

Swarm of flies isn’t needed but it’s a lot faster Yes you kill the dragon and run to the grace before it despawns as it doesn’t respawn after it is killed and fully disappeared

I think this got patched, I was back at the grace before the dragon even started twitching and could not touch the grace, only got 75k runes and the 5 hearts. He despawned very fast.

Palace approach ledge is easier to do also you do not have to beat the game to get there. Just do Varre's bloody finger missions which is 3 invasions and he'll give you a badge that allows you to go to mohgwyn early will also turn your eyes red.

After trying this myself, it is a great farm. I have the golden scarab, but don't have any gold pickled fowl feet. I also don't have the arcane or faith requirements for swarm of flies. Instead, I just used a bleeding weapon. It takes a little longer, but still gets me 60,000 runes every time I kill it.

I’d recommend removing any gestures before doing this in case you accidentally emote and make it die. On the bright side, albinaurics are still great at palace approach ledge road. Won’t make that mistake in journey 4. Lol

If you are using this farm and inadvertently kill the dragon you can alt+f4 or end the game in task manager before the game autosaves and the dragon may respawn. This also works for other NPCs you inadvertently attack or kill due to fat finger problems. You should already be on your horse, the time it takes the dragon to actually die is not THAT long, maybe just a second beyond what this video shows.
