To be fair, Elden Ring is kinda FIRST souls series to many people. Even me. When people first entered the wonder-world-universer made by From, they got hooked by crazy weapons and stuff. To shoot the beam you have to deal enough damage to enemies and the blades will glow. If you can keep dealing damage the blade will shine brighter and have a longer lasting move

For everyone asking how to get the beam. You need to land about 6 hits to charge the twin blade and then you can fire it with the AoW. You'll know its charged when the twinblade starts glowing. Also the charge will be stored for about a minute if you don't use it right away. After that the blade will fade and you will need to build the charge again.

I've played all the souls games all the way back to the release of Demon's Souls. I hadn't played ER for almost 2 years when the DLC came out so I decided I was going to play it as slowly as possible, to savor it, and explore everything without any guides, rather than beeline to the bosses. The only thing I checked on was how not to break quest lines but no guidance at all other than that. It has been the absolute most enjoyable experience finding things like this without any guidance. I will admit I only found this due to messages seen down on some ledges causing me to explore. I even got all the way to the final grace but, rather than fight Radhan, I kept exploring and blown away by what I continued to find just by continuing to explore. One example is I missed the death rite bird and lamentation cave area, an area that had a lot of nice items and playthrough. I kind of shake my head when I see people say they completed the DLC in so few hours. Yeah, you can if you're only goal is to defeat the bosses as quickly as possible and I admit that I used to do that. I just hope a new release or another DLC comes out so I can enjoy that experience again.

In my opinion this weapon isnt very good and its definitely not op i have it at +10 on a dedicated faith build and this weapon is not one you should use for pvp and even in pve the weapon art is too slow that when you finally get the full charge off the bosses will most likely smack you out of it.

Bro people really been brainwashed by the resistances videos. ONLY the enemies in the literal final zone have any meaningful resistances to holy and even then it amounts to a 50-100 damage reduction in the absolute worst case. If you didn’t read a spread sheet you wouldn’t have even noticed anything changed. Maybe 1 or two enemies would have been slightly tankier to you. And in ng + runs resistances scale so hard it stops mattering since everything resists everything.

@@PuddleWaterBH because it is insignificant and no one knew until spread sheets were made. Then people became convinced that the 1 or two extra hits some enemies took to die were unacceptable. Past fire giant you will have access to enough upgrades and stats to scale holy enough that there isn’t an issue. And the rest of the game doesn’t suddenly become nonexistent.
