the huge damage up is sooo great, i never used it on the final boss but i might try it to see if that’ll make it a whole lot easier, i’ve already beat it 3 times but it takes sooo long to kill him. if they nerf the hp you lose from using the cracked tear that would just be amazing, i would probably use it all the time and never swap it out with another crystal tear.

This is really made for oneshot builds with a lot of regen. It's really hard to get much use out of the tear unless you're already doing a ton of damage (of course) since even with Blessing's boon, Icon shield and Blessed dew talisman, you can just barely counteract the hp loss. Also it doesn't even seem to be 1% hp/s at 1704 hp (50 vigor) it takes 23 hp/s which is a lot more than 1% and adds up over long periods of time. The damage buff is really worth it for shorter bosses. I would likely switch to this when i know the boss is relatively weak.

@hypotrain Considering the damage most bosses in the dlc I do still stand by my point. I guess it's a bit biased since I tested the tear against Bayle who hits like a truck but with enough regen going on it was fine. I never died to the effect and the damage boost was significant but it didn't really complement the way I fought. Yes I know crimson tears exist, if you like to play aggressive and end the fight as quick as possible then this is the tear for you. The life drain also last the whole 3 minutes so you have to take that into account. You are going to use a lot of crimson tears

@@stitchmck5055 use a stagger weapon if possible. stagger him 3 times to do a crit hit in his face which is like 70k dmg with a 140 crit rate dagger and always jump over the fire when he does the stomping - its rly easy no worries

opnly way is with crits really. when he falls down go to his face. u can also use talisman that increases crit dmg dagger talisman

once you wake him up with the first pot you throw in his head you kill him normally, you dont have to use more pots like the others because he doesnt have things on his feet (clicked on a different guide for 2 seconds)
