I had to respec 12 times just to get the right levels to last against Radahn. I had 33 larval tears, and figured fuck it, lets redo our stats a bit. Endurance was really low before I changed it, and it helped a lot. Since NG+3, I've been running a bleed build, scrictly due to the fact that Malenia is very weak to bleed, so I used that to my advantage, and set arcane up to 80 long before my fight with Radahn. I'll tell you this much: you can be the most powerful player of all in this game, you will still struggle with the bosses if you're not careful and mindful of what you're using in the fight. I've cursed Miyazaki and fromsoft so much for this dlc, and now that I've beaten it, I honestly take it all back.

Beating the dlc with no scadutree fragments normally is not that bad, its only when you reach NG+7 i feel like its almost near impossible with no fragments, the first mini boss two shots you with max level

​@@TJRochethere are 2 sides of Miquella. The kind and gentle side (St.Trina) and the evil genius manipulator (Miquella the Unalloyed). In the dlc Miquella gets rid and seperates Sr Trina from his body, similar to Marika and Radagon, but Miquella only becomes truly evil and insane after that point.

I also did the DLC with a max level character. For people wondering what that's like, I'd say you're afforded around 2-3 extra mistakes compared to a regular levelled character, but you're still nowhere near to being a god. As you can see in the Rellana fight, she still takes half of your HP, BUT they don't one-shot you. Maybe 2 shot, but not one-shot. Then a big advantage is you don't need a build, you're all the builds and you don't need to respec. If a situation requires you to switch gear/weapons, you're good to go and even heavier loads should only get you to medium load, so fat rolling is unlikely. This being said, I beat Rellana and the Lion on my first tries, Messmer on probably my 3rd or 4th. The toughest bosses were Blackgaol Knight (because I was using swords, but going in big bonk - 2 maxed Anvil Hammers on my second go through the DLC, I destroyed him in a few seconds). Bayle took me less than 10 attempts, but I got lucky. Now, Radahn was still hard, even at max level. Out of all the bosses, base game + DLC he was legit hard, even at max level and took me probably... 20-30 attempts.

Radhan with full scad is easier than melania, I'd say, and messmer was a lot easier than i thought hed be i beat him on my second try bc i fucked up on my first and didn't realize what i was doing wrong till after. I consider his fight still only a 1st try myself bc once i realized what i was accidentally doing it was a 1 sided fight. For context too what i was doing i kept drinking my healing flask and couldn't figure out why my character was. Wrong button being pressed

That's what makes no sense to me. I'm max level. I've followed a hundred builds to test out. Not a single one of them made me doing much different than my generic build I originally played through the game with but yet I see all these people killing bosses in several hits or even 1-2 hits. Never been able to do that no matter what I've tried.

mmm, are you sure ? From what I know, the DLC Bosses's difficulty scale a lot more than the base game according to your NG+ and Level, so it's hard to believe you kill bosses at 1st or second attempt. Forgive me, but it's what I really think.

Not ashamed to say im using Blashemous Blade with summons, and my scadu blessing is 12 rn. So it's definitely possible since im a complete nub to these games.

@@fabriziomanni6890it’s pretty common knowledge. At game 1 max level the only real challenge is radahn, but that’s with fragments. Not sure without them. Otherwise max level means nothing in the dlc

But that being said, I don’t know if your level doesn’t play any factor. But truthfully, the those were the only bosses that took more than one attempt. Their attack patterns and Bayle’s aoe attacks were wild. Messmer however, almost roasted me. I got lucky on that one.

I was 520, ng+3 and didnt use the scadus. Most bosses were easy but gaius, scadutree and bayle gave me some struggle and radahn was very difficult. So i used all scadus i collected ( +16 ) and second try i finally did him. I used all the bossfights a rotten great axe scales on frostbite.

I did it by farming red albinaurics. It takes probably 200 hours (I wasn't counting), but I did it on and off for something like 1 hour per day for a few months, up to a year, after finishing the game.

This shows that people just need to learn how to play the DLC correctly that way their bills are able to help them get through the game I did something similar with two of my main files were they're both at 3:00 something pretty high almost close to 400 tell where I've been able to get through most of the bosses with both the tree fragments in the DLC and taking down the bosses so in all honesty yeah it all depends on how well you get to know the DLC to decrease the difficulty so and honesty I feel like people are bitching for nothing

I used Morgotts Great Rune to get through the final fight tbh. The massive health boost let me make more mistakes throughout the fight so I could learn the patterns better. Twice I got my heart stolen on the last 10% lmao.

I have to say that you dont have to be even max level , i past most of the dlc for now, lvl 230 ( 880hp with radan amulet that i dont take off ) and i leveled up the dlc shards only to lvl 3 , it alsp ng +4 and the enemys are fine , taking a bit of a time for the boss but it not that crazy . Im not using any op builds or staff. I guess thats a why i love sols like games, they challenging in 98% of the times , but they leting you finish them in every possible way you will think of , no weapon, no levels, no rols , you can pass , the games not forcing you to be something, and you can finish every souls like in whatever way you want and its amazing

it is actually crazy how much they bumped up the difficulty for the dlc and i love it. A hard souls game is a good souls game. not only are most of the bosses harder than the vanilla game bosses but the ai of the dlc bosses are input based. Which makes for quite interesting boss fights. thank you miyazaki. 🙏

Thank you for the support! I just downloaded a save file that had max runes at level 1 at the beginning of the game and from there proceeded to go through the game at max level in another video. Then simply carried on in this video!

Use cheat engine for lv 713 fast. Cheatengine/other mods don't get you banned. ER Anticheat just considers it as if your friend dropped you runes in multiplayer mode. I have done it many times and then played online at lv 713 without ban. You juat need to set jt up right. It's safe & easy.

@erikbritz8095 I would say it depends on the type of build you have. Vigor and Endurance are always good to have high anyway and then from that point you can do arcane and strength or faith.. all depends on the weapons you have👍🏻

@@TJRoche i have the great stars and im doing a strength build but i want to lvl up cause recently i learned that the bleed proc needs a few extras to hit a bit harder with the great stars so i might just level it up in anyway cause im a noob and will take a bit for skill catches up fully. Commander nial on the mountain tops of giants is frustrating me at the moment.

@erikbritz8095 aaahhh okay, perfect then! If you already have a decent bit of strength then go for arcane and dexterity.. I would also recommend getting talismans like Lord of Blood Exultation and Winged Insignia which will help a lot! Edit.. Cragblade is great as an ash of war as well, and get two great stars if you don’t already👍🏻
