Even without a proper build, it’s fantastic due to the range and dragon damage multiplier. I used it with an Int/Faith build and chewed up Bayle pretty fast

One of my favorite boss fights of the new DLC, Bayle is all we wanted for a dragon boss fight since Midir, watching the video to see if i can get both of his rewards or only one per playthrough. ( Cause I'm on NG+4 if i could get all the remembrances and rewards without having to rush NG+5 would be cool. )

Hide under Bayles body to avoid a decent amount of his attacks, then with the Dragon Katana use charged specials, instead of hitting the crit use more charged specials on his head when you poise break him. Should be able to get 2-3 in, crazy damage!

Im not gonna lie, I just used dragon Rot Breath to rot Bayle, and basically just held up the Fingerprint Stone Shield absorbing almost all damage until he died. Probably the most easy and braindead way of doing this fight.

If you have trouble with dragons get the dragon slayer katana and max it , anything thats not resistant to slash attacks in the game dies from 4-5 hits from its ash of war and it does bonus damage to dragons/dragonoids. I would suggest trying to do Bayle normally since he is probably the best dragon fight in any FromSoft game however as i said with the dsk a few bops to the head will delete him. Sidenote - the DSK is the only weapon i have found that can consistently posture break dragons , if any dragon survives more than 5 attacks by the next its posture will probably break assuming you hit them rapidly , dragons have insanely high posture regen but yet there you have it , also make sure you are close to them the ash of war deals damage with both the slash and the projectile and it can be held for even more damage

Helpful Note: in 9:00 when he says hit the legs. Don't hit the normal one, hit the amputated because it does much MORE damage than hitting his other leg or even his Head.

3:53, there's no potential missed for you. Practically a worse Elden beast fight. The guy was literally flying all around his lair for 5 minutes straight. Probably the most broken normal dragon I've seen yet. It was such a pain in the ass to even hit him. In the end he forced me to just use the Bold of Granssax and slap his cheeks

I missed the Flowerstone Gavel and the Priestess Heart and ended up getting the Ancient Dragon Florissax summon and Dragonbolt of Florissax incantation. In my next playthrough of the DLC, I'll be able to use the incantation to buff the Flowerstone Gavel to pump out some massive damage!. 😈

Attack both dragons at same time switching back n forth that way they stay engaged with each other until you have both dragons health low that way when u kill the 1st dragon the 2nd will have very little health

So you can't wear armor which means lower damage reduction and poise but also your equip load will be much lower as a result. This form also boosts dragon cult incantations damage, it also provides some damage reduction and resistance boost to compensate for no armour.

I don't know how ya'll killing this dragon...i cannot even get hit on him soon as i enter the mist. I have tired everyting from running away and the AOE fire kills me no matter what in one shot. I have Level 200 with Scudtree at 10 and maxed out Dragon Katana. he does not let me do anything and my character animation is slowwww, the dragon is way faster no matter which armor i have.

they should add a weapon mastery system where by using the same weapon you can further upgrade it. maybe it could increase level by getting kills or successfully using the weapon art without taking damage. like in other games where you can hit weapon milestones. seems like this could work and add incentive to stick with a certain build

Focus on his head and sometimes try to hit his chopped up leg. Gl with phase two because it is harder but you wanna bait him into using attacks from his previous phase because those are guaranteed punishes, even though he does get a lot more aggressive, can cancel attacks and etc. Currently I don’t have much tips and I don’t wanna spoil any big phase two moves.

I used malikeths blade, equip ritual shield tali and shard of Alex. Summon mimic and igon, spam the weapon art and dodge as necessary. Used protection flame, strength flame and beast vitality to buff. Took me a day, he’s a pain, I can’t imagine what radahn 2.0 like
