I think this is a great video for people who aren't invested into souls games. Its a great way to get normal casual gamers invested into such a beautiful commitment. If you overwhelm people who aren't generally interested in fantastical stories with too many nuances and lore, they become confused and uninterested. The investment seems too time consuming and overwhelming. People have kids and responsibilities and if you make them feel like something requires a large commitment it makes them second guess their interest. I'd say for a casual gamer this is a well-versed description of the basic lore and a good way to get them to start playing and become more invested than they deemed possible.

I think the guy did the best he could. There's alot going on 😂 The best way to understand the story is to play the game and read every description on items. And pay close attention when there is dialogue. You really have to want to know the story in this game, getting the information first hand while you're playing is the best way to understand it.
