It does happen very rarely in pvp, and to Chase's credit, he doesn't edit it out lol. But in pve play, especially in 1st playthrough videos, it happens somewhat often. Not nearly as many as an average, or even a good player, but it's not that uncommon. Still, you're right; he's top 25 in the world in pve, along with being #1 in pvp!

Dragonfly is kinda annoy to farm though. I can kill the medicine bell bearing, farm like 5 dragon in dragon barrow and I can have 10 boluse. More time consuming but I like this way more. That crafting I only use if I suddenly run out of them in middle of go through something and I dont want to reset, plus I'm more of storing than using.

In the first invasion, when you used storm blade to knock down the dragon breath user, you did in fact knock him down, but there were 2 people doing it at the same time. That's why there was still rot breath after you did that.

You can get to the bottom of the madness pit with three rolls from if you start from the right of the guy playing the music on the ledge, he is on the level where the last cross beam is. Roll forward to the platform, turn around and roll, then turn around again and roll to the platform where the item is. Then walk down from the stairs in the room to your right but don't forget the Fingerprint Shield.

Another thing to every build should take for the Dlc is Flame Cleanse Me and a seal. With the +5 faith talisman, all classes but prisoner can use it without leveling faith at all. Just dont cast at 1 hp or the 15 fire damage it does will make you cease. But it does remove frostbite (not buildup) even though it only removes poison and rot buildup.

I know you're doing strength arcane for this character, but you should try the whip and bonk setup. Whip main, flail offhand. All whips are primarily dex, but the chain link flail is more strength. Being strength arcane, I'd obviously suggest bleed (most flails have innate blood loss and the thorned and hoslow's whip do.), but that's totally your call. They compensate for each other fairly well. The flail is quick but short range, while the whip is slow but has good distance and roll catch potential. There's also the added bonus that neither weapon can be parried although I almost never see you get parried. Another great video. It's always a pleasure to watch. I can't wait for the next one 🫡

I suggest killing the bell bearing hunter in altus (hermit merchant's shack) for the medicine peddler's bell bearing so you can buy infinite boluses. Also you can use your sacramental buds to craft the scarlet rot boluses (you can find a lot of them where you first find Miliscent and where you pick up the amber starlight shard in Altus) but they are limited per playthrough.

It’s a bit tangential to the rot breath at the start of the video, but what I would have done with poison and rot in Elden Ring is change Scarlet Rot to a condition that does no damage, but temporarily reduces some of your stats. That way it’s not a duplicate of poison, but still stays useful. The upshot of that is that there would be a poison dragon somewhere in the game, and a poison breath incantation which would be functionally identical to the actual game’s rot breath

In case you really wanted to go get them, there are two notable items you missed in Elphael: All the way down, where the Revenants are, there is another Stonesword keylock with the Marika Soreseal. That's the one you may have been thinking about and confused for the Triple Rings since it is actually right under it. There is another Seedbed Curse (I assume you cut out the part where you picked up the one right outside the chest with the Ancient Somber) that, I personally didn't even know about until today (even after 800+hrs )since I was double checking the wiki for it. From the Prayer Room, go to the entrance of the room with two Rot Knights, you drop from the right onto an arch and right under it, there is a small ledge that leads you to the room full of Rot Crystalians. You only need 5 curses to complete Dung Eater's quest but the game has 6 of 'em apparently. The More You Know 🌈⭐

The BK Halberd is best in class for chasing people versus the stamina used in 2H attacks, in my experience. Both the Dragon Halberd and Cavalry Halberd are heavier and their 2H attack seem to drain my stamina faster. They don't have the best base dmg, but I carry it on all my melee characters as the chase down weapon. As for high level phantoms: I've found if I do invasions after 9PM Eastern or so, I get more high level phantoms, but in the afternoon it's mostly "level appropriate" phantoms.
