The holy great arrow can buff you if you shoot it at your feet. This specific “sacred oath” is not nerfed for pvp in comparison to the other spells and aow versions of it

Greatbows with golem arrows really are the best overall weapon for invasions. They're great for many situations. I wish there was an easier way to get the arrows without having to dupe them

Personally I love doing one shot builds with the golem bow, i personally buff myself with absolutely everything I can, both arrow talismans, jar shard, ritual sword, bloodboil, rallying standard, and the buff you get from having radahns bow on your back. Then with that I use through and through and aim for people's heads. Regardless of armor if the guy has less than 1900 health they're way dead. It's not as easy to use as radahns rain with golem arrows, but you can kill people at a decent range outside of the maximum lock on, and it's based more off of manual aim than random chance.

Rain of arrows on ancestral bow with bleed/rot/poison/magic arrows does insane damage for being a regular bow build. In PVE you get faster procs and can even one shot people/mobs that aren't paying attention/agro to you Edit: the bow is called Horn bow and you can even use magic enhancing items/spells to boost the over all damage output.

@John Doe my bad on the name, but it's the red bow in the Ancestral woods. It deals out physical and magic damage that boosts magic arrows' effectiveness. Just splash the magic tear and anything that boosts magic, and it deals a lot of damage.

Something I'm noticing is how many enemies can also hit invaders in Elden Ring. It's honestly kind of ridiculous. Did From not think the odds were in the host's favour enough in DS3? They already gave them half flasks, ability to hit fellow invaders, no access to Ember health buff, and potential need to deal with Giant Tree Seed. Then ER added on inability to invade solo players and inability to have more than one invader unless host is Taunter Tongued and only has one summon, no access to Great Rune effects, and made Giant Tree Seed basically permanent except enemies don't target you. At least Chase enjoys the extra challenge.

Per arrow yes, but they lack the impact AoE of the Golem Greatarrows. They'll work great against large PvE targets that you can hardly miss, but they can't be used at someone's feet, making them perform less consistently, and thus usually worse against faster/smaller targets (i.e PvP). This is especially true with Radahn's Rain, which greatly benefits from the extra AoE per arrow due to its rapid but widespread fire, and thus makes up for the loss of damage per arrow by simply making more arrows connect, not to mention chain-stagger low-poised opponents.

Radahn spears also do more damage with the radahn bow ash of war. Unless I am wrong, the golem arrows do not apply the storm effect on the aow. So it is better them for that and the 30 golem arrows for normal hits

I love the Radahn bow, but I really think that they need to change the WA. Having it go through walls and cielings, combined with the great tracking make it a bit too good imo. I tried it out myself after getting killed by a few unseen opponents using the WA and can confirm that it's really easy to kill people who can't even see you. I won't be using it in the future for that reason.
