Its better that its inside because then it shouldn't scale Bayles health to be even higher than it is. The real issue is FROM making the bosses jump your ass the second you step into the boss fog. That didn't used to happen in their other games you'd get a few seconds of the boss walking towards you slowly or something

This boss was super hard yet so incredible. When I won, I made a huge victory scream and I made it at the exact moment when Igon yelled too. At this moment, I knew that Igon was the GOAT, that this was my greatest battle of all my Elden Ring experience and the greatest Dragon boss fight of all fromsoftware.

"Solid of scale though you may be, foul dragon... but I will riddle with holes your rotten hide! With a hail of harpoons! With every last drop of my being!" Thought this guy was weird when I first saw him outside of the dragon dungeon, but somehow, he dragged himself back to Bayle's mountain when his limbs were no longer working and tasks us with taking down the traitorous dragon alongside his soul, and that earned my respect. He earned my admiration with that fiery speech of his... And after four total hours of fighting the dragon of dread, Igon got the final shot in. He finally got his revenge, and he can rest in peace. Loved this boss fight, and a fitting end to the hammiest questline I've seen in a FromSoftware game.

It’s my favorite fight in the DLC I think, even from a lore perspective. Like every other dragon has some level of respect, but Bayle? Literally no one likes Bayle, and you can summon his biggest hater (and my personal favorite npc in the dlc) to help you riddle him with holes.
