Soooo, now that the DLC is out, let me know, guys how you liked St. Trina's realm and Thiollier's questline?? I was blown away with Trina's design and the DLC in general - Shadow of the Erdtree is easily the GotY for me and even though it's a bit sad to hear that there will be no more DLC for Elden Ring I can't wait to see what FromSort is cooking next!
@VincenzoMGREX6 ай бұрын
I loved Trina's design and music. I was constantly going back there to visit Thiollier but sadly I never figured out that to progress the questline you have to ingest the nectar 4 times (i did 3 times and gave up). Overall I find all npc's in the dlc very likable and especially Ansbach and Thiollier. In my mind they survived the final battle and left us their clothes. I was really sad to find St Trina withered and dead at the end.
@VincenzoMGREX6 ай бұрын
I would like another dlc as well but i think the story and world can be left alone now. We got some answers and some new questions and the way all from stories stick with us is because they dont answer everything. Closure gives your mind an excuse to stop thinking about something. I would recommend everyone to watch twin peaks because it gives a similar experience of satisfying hunger for answers.

I wish we had locations similar to the ones you made; they were just so cool. I loved St. Trina's design in the dlc and how they're Miquella's alter ego, just like Radagon is to Marika. I was super sad to see we didn't get much content when it came to such an important lore figure; they could've done so much more. I enjoyed the DLC a lot regardless, though.
@srwugrihf6566788jkijАй бұрын
Shadow of the Erdtree is gorgeous, but I really think it misses something, and one of those thing is your dreamworld. You have made one of the most beautiful thing I've ever seen about Elden Ring (game included), and I REALLY hope somehow and somewhen it should be added officially (I know it's impossible, but hope never dies). But I understand that they shouldn't do such a thing until they implemented the cut content, because opening the DLC showing SAINT TRINA'S DREAMWORLD without someone who tell you in the base game that Miquella is Saint Trina would be very spoiling. If I had the ability I would try to create a mod about it personally ahaha

Totally agree - there are so many things that have been mentioned about her in the main game item descriptions - the Forest of the Ancient Bowers and the Priests of St. Trina that use the arrows to spread their teachings and many many more things. Still very happy to see that they've included her in the DLC and we get to actually interact with her and that there's this whole Thiollier questline connected to her! It was one of my favourite quests in the DLC 🙌

It's fucking criminal this has only 8K views.... Funny that i was thinking how the Mhog egg mishandling would be represented, and a refrence Berserk, Casca's dream, would work here perfectly here. And then you refrenced The Lost Children arc. 🤩 Seriously, Imagine a boos fight against an even more distorted version of Mhog, hell, a Trina/Mhog duo, with an arena that slowly start filling with more and more blood, literally drowning you in the nightmare while you fight. The lands of reeds thing is a bit confusing, would it still be a dream? Like the second half of Trinas dreamworld? First Mohg's nightmare world, then Miquellas desires world. Finally giving him sweet dreams and a peacful rest?

The amount of thought and care you put into this is truly amazing. Making fanart is one thing, but actually creating a full(ish) level in-engine based on cut content, while explaining art details like St. Trina's dress in her statue resembling Trina's Lilly is something else entirely. I don't know what FromSoftware has planned for Shadow of the Erdtree, but I genuinely wanna see this level you drew up and how it would actually play out in-game. You deserve way more subscribers for this, and you've now got mine.

You know, usually when i see a fan project about souls games, it usually has, or doesn't have, one or two things that make it feel very "fan-made', and not something one would actually see in a Fromsoftware game. This, however, is absolutely the best attempt I've ever seen at really emulating that distinct 'Fromsoftware' design. Every single thing in this video is something I could 100% see being realized in Shadow of the Erdtree. The attention to detail, even calling back to the original Dark Souls, is super impressive. If you haven't already, I beg of you to make a similar video about what you think a take on the Lands of Reeds might be.

Firstly I have to congratulate with you, I have discovered you channel only now and I am completely ashtonished by the beauty of your works. You have an amazing talent and I really think From Software should hire you, they need someone with your vision and your personal artistic touch! Secondly, I really think that this reinterpretazione of Saint Trina's dream should have been added on the current DLC, it's much more lore-accured (and far more visually impressive) than the actual results. I don't want to make spoilers because I don't know how much information do you actually have, but surely I can affirm that a least THIS link with the cocoon is INCREDIBLY more suggestive and appropriate than Fromsoft's choices. What you have done is truly inspiring. Great knowledge and respect, amazing research and execution. You did the whole thing, writing, concept art and 3D and it just blends in with the game so well. Lately while playing I've been wondering a lot how the game would look in a more advance engine, some element's can feel very outdated. That's why I would love to se more of what you did in UE5, a closer look and exported in 4k. The artifacts and blocking from the 1080 compression crushes so much of what you've done here. Also I'm really interested on how did you constructed that world, what asset did you make yourself? What was the workflow? I love this video I want to see so much more.
@eugenialysa Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your words of support and constructive feedback! 🙌 Yeah this project has highlighted some particularly interesting challenges with all the compression artifacts and the need to export stuff in larger resolution. I am currently investigating this topic so that in the future I could turn the compression bugs to minimum. And regarding the assets - all of the architecture, statues, cocoons, candlesticks and other custom set dressing elements I made myself (with the exception of the scene at 3:37 (the tree 'houses' meshes and the scene at 2:25 (left tower and the bridge meshes) from the Kitbash 3D Elysium kit). The foliage - trees, grass, rocks, etc are a mix of the ones from the marketplace and the ones I made myself. Maybe if people are interested I'll record a new video with the detailed workflow on these projects :D

Very cool Eugenia. I love the dreamworld look as it contrasts with the waking world while remaining in-universe. Changing the sites of grace to reflect the dream world is a great detail and reminds me of the phantom candelabras. Where do you find time for all this hobby output? Question: Why do we fight St. Tina? I might have missed it but what is the nature of her corruption? Is there something in the environmental storytelling that could help the player puzzle out that answer? I could also see the sites of Grace becoming a place to introduce and talk with (pure) Miquella. Miquella might be our dreamworld guide, much like Melina is in the waking world. Perhaps we could free Miquella from the dream world and bring about their rebirth as an adult Empyrean?
@eugenialysa Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your feedback! I usually work on these hobby projects on my weekends and after my work:) Before I answer your question - since this fan art is highly speculative please take my interpretation with a grain of salt:D I wanted to make this corrupted state of the dream world based on the fact that Miquella had been kidnapped by Mogh, his cocoon violated and body being transformed into an adult and emaciated mess. He is slumbering so we can suggest that Miquella is currently located in the dream world. And I thought it would be suitable to show that since he was in such an unfortunate position irl, it would definitely affect the dream as well. And in my interpretation we fight the corrupted version of Trina not to defeat her but rather to help restore the dream world back to its normal state and return Miquella from the slumbering state I hope it makes sense in a way hahah😅
