You really tried. And i really appreciated it, but it is not even near to this video. You created a masterpiece here. And it is just really hard to top that. I showed this video to a lot of people. Some played Elden Ring, some not. Everyone was stunned by it and just loved it. This video was just absolutly amazing. It will be a mountain to claim for a new project to top that. I wish you all luck in the world to achieve that, but your DLC video seems to not do that. Still no reason to give it up. Keep up your good work and always try to get better. Thats the best advice I can give you. Love your work and be excited to see your future work!

Lol MGS 3 is his masterpiece and I don’t think he will ever surpass it. Deathstranding is a game you either love or hate. To me it was a boring walking simulator with a silly story. Kojima honestly needs somebody to reign him in as when he has full creative freedom you get nonsense like deathstranding.

I remember last month when I finally beat Elden ring and malenia. I felt empty for days every game I tried to play was boring and uninteresting to me. Then I saw this video at 2 am one night and I understood that I just didn’t play a game I lived in it, I felt it, I called it home. Elden Ring's story is so depressing, but there is somehow beauty on it, it is also really depressing to see how the demigods decayed so much, Miquella is in a coccon, General Radahn lost his mind to the scarlet rot, Morgott fights for a kingdom that despises him, and he also despises his own existence, Mohg decided to abandon his own brother and just accept that he'd be always a monster, so unlike Morgott he rejected the Erdtree, Malenia awaits for Miquella's return, even tho we know well that it is very unlikely that he'll return with a cure for the scarlet rot on Malenia (DLC may change this), Rykard, once a great man, became the Lord of Blasphemy, Godfrey was such a respected Elden Lord, only to be banned from the Lands Between and lose the grace on him, and also having to see his son to die on his arms, Godrick... Godrick was always a coward, but things could've been different for him if Godwyn didn't get murdered, Rennala seems to be very depressed, Marika is trapped inside the Erdtree, the Greater Will is ashamed of her acts, and you, the tarnished, also decays, you become Elden Lord at the usual ending, but once you revisit some places and think about it, you realize that you've lost everyone who was there for you in the very beginning of your own journey, you realise that mainly on the roundtable hold, where everyone goes missing after some time... Some following their own journey, and others having their journey coming to an end. With that, you, tarnished, usually asks yourself if following the flame of ambition and becoming Elden Lord is really worth it, which, sure is since you're the hope of the Lands Between, but what about you? What is left for you? Once you think about it, you will realise that you may be Elden Lord, but in reality, you were always, and always will be... A lowly tarnished playing as Lord. Motivated by the flame of ambition, in search of the Elden Ring.

I just love the Ranni Ending so much. Like the cutscene is so well executed and delivered, it succeeds the quality of a video game cutscene imo. The way Ranni turns to the camera (the player), the way she then steps towards us, allowing us to get a glimpse of her face underneath the hat. Then the way she sticks her hands out and the camera tilting, suggesting we just tilted our head and bow down at the same time. And lastly this masterpiece of a last side frame, where both hands approach each other with the perfect timed voiceline. God, i wish we could get an Elden Ring show, though i fear it could never be worthy of the game.

When i play a rpg game, dousn't matter the style, i usually build a background of them in my head, don't ask, i don't know why i do this. But in somewhat strange way i feel more connected to the world that is being presenting to me, so the characters and sorrouding are more "alive" by this, Souls franchise is special to me, but Elden Ring is even more special to me, never in a sou game i got the feeling of knowing what a character means while fighting him, i think i do this because i'm a novel writer, but man this journey sure is unique. Good vid, brought some tears to my eyes.

it really is insane the sheer impact it's had on me as a person as well. I'm glad it's universally recognized as the core of the experience to those who have truly intertwined themselves in the full journey. One of the very few things I wish I could experience all over again new. I really don't know how they made this game to this day. Never have I found something so deeply written into every object. Watching people dissect this to this day is one of the coolest things I've experienced in any community.

This game is so incredible. As my first souls like. I was astounded by the story and the events that took place before and during the game. I'll never forget the feeling of beating my first real boss. My heart racing yelling "I can't believe I did it!" It changed something in my heart. Wich is so silly. But my patience has grown exponentially. And the way I look at hardships as well. And the game gave me hope in story telling. Story telling is so important. Thanks from soft.

this game was so much more to me than a game. Honestly, looking at the map after I beat the game was depressing, the capital destroyed, the Roundtable hold burning, everyone you met along the way dead, Melina dead. still can't get over it.
@andyest56872 жыл бұрын
Is it just a game? For me, no it has become a memory of both sadness and joy. The joy of finally being able to save the lands in between but sadness because that very person whom I want her to witness me becoming a lord and live to her will cannot and will not live without her purpose being fulfilled. It's as if my very existence is her own destined death she being the kindling to the flame of ambition. Melina made me feel losing someone I have never found. I only have one wish and that is to save her and make her from my maiden to my queen but for now I will wait until she comes back or until I finally meet my own destined death and for now I will live as I or we(tarnished) supposed to be maidenless tarnished, ladyless lord, queenless king only that now I have a will and that is to put back where destined death should belong. Anyways thnx for this man damn I really am consumed by this game XD

Since I found my love for RPGs, I never found anything close to the game of my dreams, a leap into something new and own of its kind. Final Fantasy 7 showed me, that it is possible to create something which is bigger than life, The Elder Scrolls promised me near perfection but in the end it had to be Elden Ring to take the crown... i´m completely satisfyed now, this is the masterpiece, the game of my dreams

Melina sacrified everything, and for what. a family that didn't love her, a mother who couldn't give her anything more. burnt as a child by the cruel world that she was born into, and burned once more trying to save it. I always imagine that if the tarnished who chose the frenzied flame as their guide had kept their sanity, all they would say to her is: "I saved you. thats all I wanted."

I can't help but to have this within the music. I tried to listen to it alone, and for some reason it... felt wrong. I replay this video, and it was back to good for me. Just goes to show how good the editing/experience in the video alone gave us. Well done. Around 4:20, you can actually hear several discordant chords And the fact they're going when Maelina is burning to burn the Erdtree. If that was intentional, then you hit that timing PERFECTLY. If not. Happy accidents happen too!

This game has created such a masterpiece of beauty within the darkness of a ruined world, and it’s so intricate that it has become a feeling I will search for time and time again. The first feeling of stepping out of a dark stone room, to the largest open world I have ever seen, filled with views all across my screen, literally bringing every fantasy to ACTUAL life has been such a crazy thing to experience. With the DLC just releasing, it has been sort of a replay, getting to experience the same absolute beauty once again for the first time.

Elden ring had so many moments that caught my emotions by surprise. Saying goodbye to Melina, witnessing Maliketh's desperation, learning about Mogh's desire and the formless mother. There are more to count than I can do in one sitting. But finding Godfrey cradling Morgott made me cry pretty hard ngl i was really thankful to see evidence that at least one of his parents really cared for him especially since there is so much to suggest that the order his mother created would simply never accept him. I can only assume since there is so much that we don't know for sure but Godfrey was finally able to return and be a good dad to a child that needed love. Something about that always gets me, and makes me think about my Dad (he's not absent lol he just has a lot of compassion for people that need it). Finishing Elden Ring has me feeling hollow but it really was beautiful. I'm really looking forward to Shadow of the Erdtree.

You know, what I find beautiful about these games is that even though the character isn't developed and doesn't have a story, we all recognize ourselves in them a little bit. Even though we can't compare our world to theirs, there's a part of it that resonates. You feel like you're fighting against everything and that ultimately, very few people are there to help you. In the end, failure and suffering are the real commonalities between us and the character. And ultimately, we're truly admiring of what our knight is. We'd all like to be like him. We feel like we see ourselves in this world.

What a privilege it is to be able to experience Miyakzaki and his staff's artwork with these games. Every time I relaunch a Dark Souls game, go through and play Elden Ring, it just makes me appreciate further the depth, attention to detail and raw amount of passionate to just create a memorable gaming experience. The amount of joy I felt staying up, pulling all nighters like a little kid with my best friend, us laughing and being in awe of the scale of Elden Ring, finding areas, bosses and items that weren't even available on the Elden Ring wiki yet, is a memory I'll carry to my grave when I look back on being happy and cherishing my friendship. Can only hope they continue to be allowed to have free range to carry out their designs without interference from publishers. June 21st cannot come any sooner!
