ELDEN RING ~ Lord of Frenzied Flame Ending, but with Midra's Theme

Decided to do a little bit of experiment with Midra's theme cuz holy hell, his theme song is easily one of the best in the entire game.
Tested it out on the Frenzied Flame ending where I edited parts of the song to be placed in certain parts of the cutscene. It was a pretty fun experiment but yea, I will nohit Midra soon, once I'm done with a style based video.

I noticed the similarities between Miquela age of compassion and the frenzied flame age of chaos, both want to get rid of all suffering, injustices, pain, at the cost of free will, miquella through enchantment, frenzied flame through melting every aspect of life into one being.

Personally speaking, I think Frenzy Flame Ending is a significantly better option than Age of Compassion if I were to pick one. But yea, my favourite ending would still be Goldmask ending. Edit: Midra actually got me loving the thematics of the Frenzied Flame to the point where the Frenzyflame ending is my 2nd favourite ending behind Goldmask

while similar. frenzied flame is pretty much just everything back to nothingness. miquella is more like he druggs you. you will be happy but it will not be real, artificial. both kinda suck atleast if you yourself would be a part of it. also now with midra we kinda know that to become a lord of frenzied flame you need to die yourself so not even the tarnished gets a happy ending.

There's no risk of it, because the God of Frenzied Flame hates life and order in general. He does not seek to alleviate suffering, pain, etc., but to destroy everything. Life is an imperfection for him by nature. He seeks perfection by seeking to return the universe to its primordial chaos. Yelough is the equivalent of Leviathan in Hellraiser or Jyggalak in The Elder Scrolls. He only seeks to destroy life which he finds imperfect and chaotic, to restore it to its primary form and model it according to his vision of the Unique perfection. A perfection where its agents, the Lords of Chaos, feast on the smoking remains of a dying reality where nothing exists anymore. Because what is more perfect than a world that simply no longer exists, or at least no longer reflects its imperfections that have been destroyed by madness and the yellow flame? The age of Compassion is the age of the Lie. Miquella is selfish, and completely disinterested in what he claims to represent. He is a liar, who hides in his own lies, and deceives his own. The moment he succeeds in overthrowing the Great Will, he will take its place and become the equivalent of that which he claims to "fight." Miquella is not what he says he is. He manipulates those close to him, is capable of anything to fulfill his whims, and very quickly loses interest in what he once obtained as soon as a new desire comes to mind. He is the exact opposite of what he claims to be. The real moral of the story of Elden Ring is that no age is good. As long as the gods and goddesses, demigods or Outer gods are in control, the cycle will continue, again and again, the errors of the past will resurface in another form.

Just now I realize, Torrent probadly is the first to be burn in this ending. The flame of frenzy burn all, even the immortal spirit, and we see the burning whistle we often use to call Torrent lying there. Poor thing is so scare of the frenzy but never know that he allow a lord of frenzy flame used him. 💀

Looking back, I’m kind of imagining a twist where if you already inherited the Frenzied Flame, Torrent can’t be used anymore for the rest of the game; unless you use Miquella’s Needle on Placidusax’s arena. This is considering that Torrent can’t be summoned in the Abyss Woods where Frenzy is abundant

Midra is my favorite boss in the dlc, not only is he cool as hell lore wise and gameplay wise, he basically shows us how our character would be as a boss fight in the frenzy ending

The fact that Midra's phase 2 cutscene starts the same way this ending does, with the lord slowly rising, only to turn around as their new visage blooms into life, forcing you to stare into it, followed by Midra's movements being like an ecstatic dance similar to how your character sways about, as all is burned away. Midra's fight is a warning. "Is this Really what you want to become?"

If Elder Ring 2 happens, I definitely want it to take place in a timeline where Yelough, the Outer God of Frenzied Flame, won. That we play as the remaining Tarnisheds, accompanying Melina into the depths of the world in search of a solution to defeat the Lord of Chaos, going so far as to find the legacy of the Gloam-Eyed Queen, who had a last resort solution to destroy the influence of a deity and its champion.

I’ve been giving it some thought, but an Elden Ring 2 would have to take place in a timeline where enough things went to right to resolve the original LB’s issues, but not have everything resolved. My guess would be one of the Elden Lord endings would be made canon whilst the Ranni ending would be treated like DS1’s Dark Lord ending; a “good ending” that isn’t canon. ER2 would have between at least three problems to resolve from ER from that point. Somewhere I imagine Ranni (or an heir to her vision of an Age of Stars) would be available. The issue of Godwyn would also remain, and possibly be the primary issue given how long it would be given to fester in the new age. And lastly, I imagine a disappearance of the Third Elden Lord, fled from the side of their restored Queen Marika for unknown reasons. Either like with Placidusax in base game or in an ER2 DLC their fate could be revealed: they fell both to Frenzy and Bayle, with their Unalloyed Gold Needle losing its lustre and Bayle’s heart taking over at the same time. Queue an epic Frenzy-Bayle battle.

@@e.v4892i think it would be more fitting to be a DLC instead of a new game, maybe a sick name for it would be “Ashes of Frenzy” and the final boss would be your character that you used to become the lord of frenzied flame, and second phase would be Yelough, God of Frenzy. Also i think it would be super cool if you could get like talismens to reduce madness build up or just make it build up over time and you have to use something similar to the clarifying bolluses, and instead of Scadutree fragments, maybe it could be “Unburned Sin”. Or! We fight maddened weaker versions of demigods that give great runes but more powerful, Like “Flame-touched Great Rune”. And i think maybe they could do something like DS and make you restore your humanity to return to max power. Maybe it could be called “Gloam-Eyed Blessing” and instead of being hollow, your eyes would glow like frenzied enemies
