What a treat. I love being frightened, horror movies and the like, and in my opinion, this boss is easily the scariest thing From has conceived (barring some of Bloodborne..) and his theme perfectly echoes his terrifying design philosophy. The best ost in the dlc personally. Midra felt like a throwback to how intense and constant combat felt back in ds3, without being all too flashy. I of course love ER for being the more cinematic, but midra reminded me much of the twin princes, gale, etc. The ogs would be proud of his moveset and ost.

Actually Laura and myself definitely wanted to do lyrics revolving around the frenzied flame lore. But I found out that adding lyrics to the cover would disqualify it from official licensing, so I had to scrap it. That said, I remember writing lyrics for all of phase 2, and possibly phase 1. I could try to dig them up if you're curious
