Gravity well is fun if they are exposed enough, spell parrying your own spells into him, use explovie great arrows or breath attacks into the ground as they pass through. My favorite is the suicide bombing them with the flask by timing my fall.

Fun Fact: you get lvl scaling amount of runes if you "kill" the hunter so If the host u invaded is hiding in that spot, just hide elsewhere. Unlike you, hunters don't get your exact location of who they suppose to kill so they usually jump off/give up and there's your runes(and waste the hosts time)

Just a heads up, as a Red you can get there by timing the Waterfoul Dance (Malenia's Hand unique ash of war) to get down there safely. In my experience you have to do it JUST as you're about to fall and spam it as you'll basically float towards the ledge. The timing and angles are crucial, but it is possible. Practice this method, don't let these lazy weirdos get free runes by doing nothing.

@Electro Ninja This isn't Dark Souls 1 2 or 3 where it's involuntary to be invaded. You can choose not to be by playing offline or without your friends. Understandably many will WANT to play with their friends. However it's always in favor of the host unless the invader is good (which even so they're still at a disadvantage.) In my experience the host doesn't have any phantoms, perhaps they did at one point and they died, or they got there and used the tongue. Point is it's an exploit and it's lazy, you can't use the excuse that they don't want to fight because the whole point of using the Taunters is to lure invaders there. Why waste their time if you don't wanna be invaded? It doesn't make sense

Well this explains a lot. I had my blue ring on while in Limgrave and kept getting summoned as a hunter into a players world and couldn't figure out for the life of me where this player was and how so many invaders were showing up. It was quite annoying. I had to take my blue ring off as I was getting resummoned back to that world within a few seconds of me putting up a sign to help others.

From’s TOS states that using exploits in multiplayer is a reason to get banned, and an influx of reports might make them rethink letting people put summoning signs on cliffs and walls. the signs should only work on solid ground out in the open world. this should be an easy fix, but they need to know it’s happening so report them and report channel like this that help people cheat

Did a few invasions in limgrave today. The dot on the compass seemed to indicate they were beneath me, like they were in the starting crypt somehow during an invasion. This happened like 3 times. Me and another invader were killing hunters in these worlds and neither of us knew where the host was. Guess this answers that question. I did look over the edge and saw those cliffs, but did not think anything more of it once another hunter appeared

Here’s how you counter this. Items needed: +25 shield Carian retaliation ash of war Wraith bell / glintstone scrap One of the airborn dragon incantations (I use the rot breath version) When you find a wonderful AFK invader, use a glint stone scrap and parry it with the carian retaliation shield. Jump down to the person (can be found using the marker on the compass, and some keen eyesight), and activate the airborn dragon incantation. It will force the host out of their mimic veil, and the retaliation bolts will deal 3,000+ damage, one shotting anyone not hiding behind a shield.

[PATCHED] If you have carian retaliation, you can pop a glintstone pebble and parry it to get the glitched glintblade phalanx then backstep off the cliff so you're facing the host as you fall. It'll oneshot the afk host before you die. Yes, it's an exploit but technically so is this farming method so no worries. Edit: Additionally there are a few attacks you can use midair like some dragon attacks and the waterfowl dance on Melania's WA.

I've never once bothered to use the Carian Exploit and only had thoughts on using it on people who literally only gank people but still don'tuse them in the end. The other area known is Liurnia of the lakes, they hide in the trees near the buildings, use mogwyns spear to get them easily, and check the rock spires, you will always spawn within view distance of the host (render range not line of sight)

The runes are a percentage of the invader's pocket stash (I am pretty sure). This is why having a higher level toon generally produces a larger amount of runes from the invaders. The higher level your invader is, the more likely he is to just invade non stop forever, and is likely not spending his pocket runes to level up further.

@@BRBMrSoul I really doubt they can. They use anti-cheat automated systems to ban accounts. No cheats are being used here, this is just odd "gameplay". From has always encouraged strange things to happen in their games, and this is just one of those things. They may patch it by breaking the ledge in game so you can't sit there anymore (and I hear this has already been reported as a bug/exploit) but going and checking every players accounts by hand would be too costly and a waste of time, as an automated system for detecting this would catch too many innocents in the cross fire as well as need recorded information that happened in the past, before this hypothetical system was created. Blacklisting for farming is not possible, especially since farming has always been a present and intentional part of the games

Why buy a game like Elden Ring if you don’t want a challenge. That is the fun part! If I can 1 shot bosses, then all those bosses might as well just be regular mobs. I like learning by dying to the bosses a few times about their move-set and so on. I don’t need these rune glitches or things that are gonna be patched to make my game easier. Quick tip. You can equip a sacrificial twig while your afk so that even if you do die. When you respawn, you’ll have all your runes still. In case people are worried about dying trying to jump back to collect their runes!

Hunters and invaders don't like this. I mixed it up and hid somewhere else, and the hunter shot arrows at my location to show the invader where I was. I think this could be a fun hide and seek format but apparently it's okay to invade, backstab and disrupt but don't you dare hide! (Despite FROM creating an item that lets you hide.)

Im a vet invader from all the games and i like this, let's me farm blues for sport. But I can understand more inexperienced invaders don't like this, they can't kill the host, I got a jar cannon So i can. The blues are just babies that are mad the host isn't helping them 3 v 1 the invader.

my fav and what i use is heading to mohgs blood area and head to a certain cliffside theres 2 rune farms there one is a under the map glitch(gives around 100k or more im not sure) the other is going to a cliffside with a bunch of alien dudes and using the elden swords ash of war(wave of gold) it gives around 20-40k last time i remember (i could be wrong) but those are my rune farms sorry for the long paragraph if any new players also want the mohg rune farm area jus lmk its pretty simple but getting there is a lil tough

@@timekiler Lots of people try to use this in the starter area. Enough angry people started using ranged explosions to punish it. (PvP fight club is now located at the magic academy circle. Enter the very first giant magic gate that leads to the grace. That's the spot.)

For higher level people, head to Zamor Ruins and sit atop the towers that have 4 walls, one of them you can't get to without Torrent. People who are invading this spot, bring the Jar Cannon and some explosive ballistas and blow the tower up for easy kills. Stay safe everyone.

that's a number you can only achieve if you farm for runes. which you literally don't need. I farm for armors sometimes, and those runes always go straight into smithing stones.
