For anyone wondering, you need to hold down the cast button that you use for the spell as you start falling, and keep it held down until you see that the boss has been slain. You also have to run up to the fog first to load in Mohg, if you don't run up he won't spawn in and you won't get any drops.

Just one tip for people who, like me, never used healing spells much: you have got to hold the casting button the whole time. Took me 3 tries to understand that, I started fearing they might have already patched this lol

@@darksoulsbuildsandcosplays975 got you bro: if Mohg is not dying it means he is not loaded in the area, so you need to enter Mohg's boss fight, then quit the game, log back in (this will spawn you outside the fog wall but with Mohg loaded since you were just fighting him) and then go perform the glitch without fast travelling, dying or doing anything that involves a loading screen. This should "fix" the glitch

​@@dimwitted-foolit's for secondary runs, for DLC items without ng+ You make a new character, you do varre's quest, you do this, you beat radahn real quick and then you can go pick up the item you want in the dlc, for your build, then you can go play the rest of the game as normal

IT WORKS, Make sure you go through the boss fog, die and spawn at Marika's statue (very important) otherwise the boss will not spawn and will only drop the runes.

Thank you. Used Golden Vow since I didn't have Heal, but worked perfectly. Having to beat Mohg on subsequent playthroughs was a drag enough, but this alleviated it.

I just wanna thank you again for finding and sharing this cheese. Since I‘m mainly Invading at all Levels I‘ve around 100 builds. Your Cheese made it so easy to enter DLC fast and best I can do that with whatever build. If it is RL1 or max level - it doesent matter. Cherry on top is that the glitch is way easier than it looks, because you basically just need to go to the edge and you have enough time to „heal“ while you already falling. Thx again Mate Umbasa

OMG thanks so much!! The first time i tried this i got to the right spot but run out of mana and died. Also if you are fast enough you can open the map and teleport before you die (no need for sacrificial twig)

theres actually another hole that you passed around 1:43 where you can just run into the crack on the north side of the hole and use the heal spell to perform the same thing. its much closer and doesnt require tricky positioning

Also, remember to defeat Radahn if you plan to go to the DLC early. (Have Black Flame and Rotten Breath to literally cheese Radahn's fight if you're having trouble.) Just so you don't have to check the wiki, here are the requirements: Invade 3 people or a NPC invader at Writheblood Ruins, Altus Plateau (Either win once or just invade 3 times); Soak the Lord of Blood's Favor in blood (easiest way is to kill Irina at the bridge in Weeping Peninsula, but if you don't have the guts to do that, just use the maiden at Church of Inhibition - where Vyke invades you); Say yes to whatever Varre asks and speak to him again after the ritual, using the item he gives you right after.

No clue, this glitch was discovered by someone else earlier (i dont know who sorry), but you used swinging your weapon on torrent instead of a incantation while falling. But they patched the torrent swing for the DLC (1.13). My friend mentioned he saw someone post themselves falling infinitely by holding a incant, and i thought "shouldn't that work for the old mohg skip?" and lo and behold it did.
