Lemon, your work inspires. Don't give up on Elden ring. It may be a larger scale with a lot of emptiness, but the boss fights can be very fun. Just try to embrace the suck that exists, and focus your review on the things you did enjoy.

Good call lemon, I didn't do every side quest and dungeon my first playthrough and I highly recommend it, there's just too much game for that. THAT SAID, there is something you need to do a little exploring for in the volcano manor, it would fit your build quite nicely😏

Good call on not exploring the side dungeons. I did that on my first playthrough, because I played Elden Ring like it was a Souls-like, and that dragged the experience from a 9/10 to a 7/10. Most of them are forgettable and were not worth my time. There were two that were worth it, a Catacomb in the city and one more outside the same city. That first dungeon you explored has half of the illusory walls in all of Elden Ring. And Radagon is very parryable.

Eldenring's biggest struggel you go to a random corner and find the most legendary weapon there is then later u parcour and run around trough a secret path just to find a mushroom 😂😢

there is a talisman that increases critical dmg its called the dagger talisman which increases it by 17%. its in volcano manor near ash of war that increase the dmg of the next landed hit. its called royal Knights resolve, which increases crit dmg by 35%. there is another ash a war from a bug near the bridge by the gate front ruins that does the same thing but its 20% crit dmg. that ash of war is called determination.

Truthfully dear Lemon it’s not as fun to watch content when it’s super super clear that you, yourself, are not having fun. Unless there’s some outside circumstance demanding you play Elden Ring, I really would say just leave it. It’s wayyyyyyy more enjoyable to watch videos where you’re happy and engaging with the game fully. Love u a lot tho hope you’re having a wonderful day

In regards to the spear tailsman and hopefully, for lack of spoilers, this is long enough to hide most of the message. I do not know if chat ever told you or if you have looked it up. You were on the right trail for the it. It says counterattacks from unique thrusting weapons. An attack when an enemy attacks is a counter and not thrusting damage, attack, like you said with the dagger. I could be out of my mind from the 3 day fever.

Not all the optional dungeons are created equally in this game for sure alot more filler than killer but there are a few of note worth seeking out as theyre done differently , one specifically is a puzzle dungeon which id love to watch. I believe its called Auriza Side tomb

Ruined my first 3 attempts following the interactive map never made it past liurnia recently tried again no map, from the get go had way more fun wasn't incredible at times dragged out but still was nice stumbling across things, missed alot I bet but I think that's made it more fun managed to do a run on ng+ found new things. Only stuff I looked up was things for my build if I never found it after awhile
