I get it now why Claymore is Chase's favorite weapon. Apart from the speed and damage, the length this weapon streches out and fast recovery is perfect for dealing ganks and pvp overall

It's a combination of overall good traits and good scaling on basically every build while having very low requirements. It's not absurdly strong or centralizing but it's always good and the AoW's can be tailored to whatever you need. Some of my builds I've had 10 different claymores that I just swap between depending on what I feel like using

@@Rat_the_Renegade bastard sword is almost strictly worse except for its less strict requirements and barely better strength scaling. the claymores requirements are already lenient as is so the bastard sword is sorta just redundant. the long reaching pierce damage pokes are too valuable to give up

Just use stuff you like and try to find things that cover weaknesses. It's basically just trial and error after that until you find a style that you enjoy that works decently well. If you really want to play hard mode do a hybrid caster cause now you have to manage FP to do anything, if you get decent at that and then go back to a more weapon oriented build it's so easy because the resource management is non-existent relatively speaking

Great katana two handed + two handed sword talisman + spear talisman + retaliatory crossed tree talisman + lacerating crossed tree talisman + Leda's chest piece. If you do a running or crouch r1, which are both thrust attacks, the first r1 in your normal attack string will be skipped and do the second attack in the string instead, which is another thrust. So you can do a playstyle that is majority thrusts, and getting super boosted by your armor and talismans.

I really love to see your skills applied to a pizza cutter/ ghiza wheel build! It would be super cool to see someone with your skills get some good high risk high reward spinning wheel meat shots. On today's subject I find the spinning wheel ash of war has a initial hit b4 the wheel fully spins. This work in a similar way as a great sword poke just rember to cancle the spinning wheel after the initial thrust

I was playing around with the idea of using the Backhand Blades as an off-hand weapon, and I found out that when pressing L1, L1, R1 the attack animation of the second L1 can be interrupted quite early leading into a very fast R1 follow-up. I think this could be a true combo for most weapon types in the right hand. Try it out for yourself.

Chase, I'd be interested to see you do a stealth build, focused entirely around sneaking up on the enemy to get a backstab and getting as much damage out of it as possible, you could also do a stealth archer build along with it if you desire, (look up "the koop" videos on stealth invasions to see what I'm talking about) I'd also be interested to see a new episode of the level up through pvp series
