Years later I still think Ds2 was meant to be open world like Eden ring but was limited by its hardware. Look at the trailer and tell me that didn't give exploration vibes like Elden Ring. On a side note you should try lords of the Fallen 2

Lucatiel has a great story but you must win 3 bosses with him staying alive,, to give you her armour and weapon speak to all the npcs they give you rings after

I went a bit ahead and finished the game already but on a second playthrough I would like to see this story

The bosses are very easy in this game, I was mainly just looking to get armour and weapons from sidequests
