Love how Elden Ring has made so many people go back and play DS3, that game is still amazing! How are you finding the more linear game design? I love the open world of Elden Ring but something about how DS3 level design comes together is just too good.

I wouldn't say level design is the core appeal of ds3. I m impressed by bosses more than level design. Best level design goes to ds1 no question.

Ds3 level design is pretty underrated. Sure the world isnt connected like Dark Souls 1 but i think the levels on their own are amazing and better than Dark Souls 1 areas. At least for the most parts.

It took a few (?) tries but you actually did it. But there's a lot more to do here and now you're getting the hang of the game. Before you advance to the dlc's, I would go back a few levels and explore and collect whatever was left behind. You really going to need it. Great video and gameplay. NK was 10x harder for me because I defeat Midir and Friede in less than 5 tries but NK took me 30+ and change from UGS to Straight sword
