This theme is so good because as you reach the end of the playthrough it suddenly takes on a totally different meaning. Everyone's left the roundtable hold or they're losing themselves like Roderika and Hewg. Although the theme never changes like in Dark Souls3's firelink shrine, you reach a certain point in the Elden Ring where each visit to the roundtable hold, you look around and see fewer and fewer people. And it kinda just hits you. Would love to see you tackle Altus Plateau, Royal Capital, Haligtree, and Crumbling Farum Azula. And once again, amazing analysis in the description and a great arrangement to highlight what makes this track work.

Thank you Wraithwrecker! I appreciate the support. I will definitely do at least 1 more of the ambient ER tracks. And I agree, this piece takes on a more sad tone as everyone begins to disappear

It always felt super empty at the end of the playthrough (obviously everyone had left), I missed them all.

Not only do you see fewer people leave the hold, after setting alight the Erdtree, the hold starts to gently burn. And then once Leyndell turns to Capital of Ash, the hold burns more aggressively.

Omg, I actually tried to transcribe this one but because there was like.. no clear "beat" (to me at least), I gave up and left it on the back burner lol you've inspired me 🧘🏻

Glad to hear that! It was a really fun one. I just didn’t use the metronome and matched the chords up to the chords in the song wav file. I sped it up by about 10 bpm at the end. I think it could totally be brought to a beat as well
@CthulhuSeeker2 жыл бұрын
@@moonlapsepiano I see. I too believe it can be given a beat. But at that time (after my Godskin remix I think) I thought it was just too much work 😅 but I will definitely do it soon~

Great job! This and Leyndell are easily some of the best non-battle tracks in the game and you did it justice. :)

Thanks! I also love Leyndell - I may do it at some point. The ambient tracks are gorgeous

I do not since it was played with no metronome/time signature. However I could probably make some sheets for it in the near future :)
